Very useful product to have and keep that one socket free for other items. Easy to set up, plug it in to the TV let it charge for 10 minutes and you're up and running. It would be better if either the cables were longer or if an extra item was included to secure it to the back of the TV. Depending on the location of the USB and HDMI on your TV, the charger may be freely hanging.

I find tis invaluable! Plug into the TV's USB and then there are no wires visible from it at all. Well worth the money.

Having moved bedrooms and wall mounting my TV, my first thought was how much extra wires were irritating me, including the power cable for my Fore TV Stick. Fortunately, one of the suggested purchases to got with my Fire Stick was this handle little USB power supply for the Fore Stick, eliminating the need for wired power. I admit I was a little sceptical ordering the used (as new) power cable, having recently had a bad experience with another product under the same used (as new) that didn’t live up to expectations. However I shouldn’t have worried. This arrived in its original box and complete, a better start than the previous used (as new) product I ordered. Now some reviewers expressed their dissatisfaction t how this wasn’t a simple plug in device, causing them all sorts of issues. It I’m happy to say I had no such problems and I’m very happy with the ease at which I could install and use this. Out of the box I plugged it into both the USB port and the Fire Stick and of it went, no muss no fuss. I was instantly able to use the Fire Stick to access everything and having just watched a movie I can report that it supplied power faultlessly. Other reviewers referred to continuous buffering, yet I had no such problems as I happily watched a movie for over 2 hours with seamless streaming. As far as I’m concerned this does exactly what is advertised. Supplies power to a Fire TV Stick from the USB port on your TV, eliminating the need for the power cable that comes with the Fire Stick. I highly recommend this product, and can honestly say I’d be happy paying full price.

Bought to use with the latest 16gb 4k firestick. You cannot get a cleaner installation than this. It also takes care of underpowered USB ports on older tvs. Works absolutely perfect. there is no lag whatsoever which is common on USB ports from older tvs. However... When the Instructions tell you to connect to the USB port and let it pre charge for 10 minutes you have to absolutely follow this. Plus it's not just plugging it in while the TV is off. Turn your TV on and plug it in and let it pre charge. Let it charge longer than 10 minutes. I connected it to the TV while it was off thinking it was charging but it wasn't. you will know it's charging if the blue lights on the device are on. Connected my firestick and it was awful...slow laggy and there was a white line showing on TV near the bottom. I initially thought the old TV I had it connected to was finally giving out. Tried putting it on other tvs and still the same results not realizing it didn't pre charge correctly and that white line still on bottom of screen on all tvs I tried (2 other tvs) At this point I put it back on the TV I intended to use it for and just left it on. I thought maybe a defective firestick. Left it alone to eat lunch and figured I would process the return. When I went to go look at the firestick after lunch I noticed the line was gone. It was lightning quick and snappy and functioned as it should. Looked here and sure enough people say the pre charge is so important. It 100% is a must and I would let it pre charge longer than the suggested 10 minutes. Connected to other tvs again and no issues it was this device not having the adequate charge causing the display issue and slow response. I've been watching TV for an hour now and no issues whatsoever even watching heavy load 4k content streaming. Awesome device. Works as it should for a super clean install especially if you do not have access to pulg in the firestick power cord which is ridiculously short to begin with. Awesome product
