NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP HD Studio Photogenic Concealer Wand, Medium Coverage - Green

This stuff is absolutely awesome at covering my red cheeks. The downside is the tube only lasts a few weeks. I purchased a tube of green concealer from LA Girl ( sold on Amazon) and it is a bit thicker and harder to spread, but you get twice as much and it covers just as well. If you have a smaller area to cover than me (cheecks and nose) or you don't mind buying it often, this is the best one in my opinion. I will buy the LA Girl from now on because it lasts longer. Also, I tried the green primer from NYX and it was awful. Fine for a primer, but does nothing to cover redness. Looks green, but goes on clear.

Covers redness well but is thick and spreads better mixed in with foundation on the back of my hand. Then I pat into the skin on my face with my fingers and blend with a damp sponge. That works better for me than using first and then applying foundation because I had to really rub to spread it out. I only had to use a small amount that way though. Because of thickness I found I had to scrub to remove. But again, it does cover my redness well.

I recently had a full-depth skin graft on my face. It will be angry red for several months, then will gradually fade. Foundation does nothing to hide it. A little of this NYX green concealer patted on the scar neutralizes the redness, and seems to help the foundation spread more smoothly over the slippery skin of the graft. This combination of green concealer and foundation does not entirely hide the scar: instead of being red, the scar is a darker tone than the surrounding skin--much more pleasant to look at. There are additional makeup procedures that will hide it entirely, but I don't like the heaviness. Green concealer has to be used correctly: it's purpose is to neutralize RED tones. Use it on fresh scars, zits, red noses, etc. Hint to young women: In the last few years I have had several surgeries for skin cancer on my face, all because I did not use sunscreen when I was young. I wanted that "healthy" tan. If you want to still be pretty when you are elderly, protect yourself from the sun now.

This has a fairly thick texture, and even when I use the tiniest amount, I have a terrible time trying to get it to blend in. It looks blotchy and is so difficult to spread. The color is the right shade of green to neutralize the redness in my skin, so the color is great. I can't figure out how to actually use this product, though, since no matter how much I moisturize my skin or how little of the green product I use, I can't get it to blend in. Maybe I'm using it wrong?

I bought the green concealer to neutralize redness from acne. I just apply it before foundation. The concealer is very creamy and has great coverage. It doesn't thin out too much when you spread it. It is pigmented enough to cover even moles if need be. In fact in the case with the green concealer, it is a bit too pigmented. When I try to cover over the green spots with foundation, my foundation wasn't pigmented to completely cover the green. I'll just have to spread it out a little more. Needless to say, the green definitely hid any trace of redness. I'd probably buy this again but as a normal concealer on day since I like the texture a lot. It's not drying or irritating, I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a full coverage, and creamy concealer for hiding blemishes.

This stuff is really wonderful. I have pretty bad rosacea and it helps a lot. I dab it on the parts of my face with the most redness, (it does still look green once it is applied) and then I put a CC cream over my whole face. It evens me out a lot. I wouldn't use it alone without something over it since it is so green but it goes beautifully under a tinted sunscreen, CC cream, or foundation. Great price point as well. I have a smashbox green primer that I used to use but it doesn't work nearly as well as this stuff (and it's a fraction of the price!).

Great for color correction for scar/blemish coverage. Good consistency

I have redness on my nose from many years of getting sun burned. I got this for a cover up. It is not cakey and goes on smooth. I will definitely buy again.

Purchased this green concealer to camouflage roasacea which affects my nose. This is the first time I have used anything like this and I am impressed with the results. Rosacea has left three areas of spider veins which give a pinkish to red tint to my nose. A tiny amount much smaller than a pin head is needed for the job. I applied this with my finger tip by dotting on and blending over the affected area. It is non greasy and drys quickly leaving a matt finish. Too much leaves a white bloom so use sparingly! The finished result is really good, looking natural, matching the skin tone of my face. (I used to dab on a small amount of talc which was hit & miss, too much leaving my nose looking like dusted Turkish delight!) Wish I had found NYX sooner as I am self concious of the rosacea. Helps my confidence very well. I am male and didn't want to have to use make-up on my entire face. NYX works a treat!
