Order a size down.
After learning the hard way that they send a size larger than you ask for, I reordered a size smaller. Out of the box the wheel nuts are tight and need loosening to spin freely. The tool provided was not strong enough and bent, but luckily I have my own tools and all my wheels are spinning nicely. I am new to skating and hope to have fun with these skates. They are good looking and very comfortable. There are a lot of bad reviews but I think most of them are just not adjusting them correctly before use. FYI when you order a UK size 8, you receive a US size 10. UK 9 you get US 11 which is a size too big. Hope this information helps.Overall I think these are great skates and Amazon's monthly payment plan makes a massive difference to my buying decision.I recommend and updated my review after reordering a smaller size.

Dangerous
These skates are dangerous they put cheap bearings in the wheels and the balls fell out of the bearings while skating and the wheel was close to coming off
