Very good for the posture. I don't have a problem with the headrest even if it's not same brand.
It only came with one loose cable that I was able to easily put where it belonged, thanks to the online forums and subforums that are dedicated to the praises Herman Miller. And that cable being "loose" was not a defect, it was perfectly easy to slot into place and may have just shipped like that by design, but don't take my word on it. After some months of sitting in it, I can understand perfectly the praises. I know that a chair that accounts for adjustability of every feature costs money to manufacture. Yet now that I've had a Herman Miller, I find myself asking every day... why don't all chairs do this! I will never be able to go back from individually adjusting the arms... having adjustable (and actually good) lumbar support... having head support. Some other reviews say that the headrest doesn't match the brand but I myself (5'4" for a reference point, if it matters) find it perfectly suitable for my needs. It hasn't been falling off, hindering my neck, or doing any witchcraft when I'm not looking. All in all, a solid chair 100% worth its price. I picked it up on Amazon for the fast shipping, convenience, and general Amazon policies. I have not regretted it. Though one must be very careful to sit in it in the way that it's intended. I naturally liked to shrimp or slump ... it was a habit that I had to consciously break to be able to reap the benefits of this chair.

Great chair - not from this vendor - InscapeModern -
The chair is great. I've had a previous generation of this chair for years - very comfortable, highly adjustable and breathable. The issue is with the vendor. The chair was used, cleaned with simple green so it still reeks of it. The chair is missing a bracket that attaches the back support to the bottom the the back to keep it in place. The headrest does not hold is position when tilted upwards so it drops to its lowest forward level. The chair did not have any tags, pamphlets or manual so I could not verify that I received the proper size. It is smaller than the one I have on the seat part with the knee extending our much more then the current seat which indicates is a smaller then medium chair and likely uncomfortable after a few hours of sitting down due to the pressure on the leg below. Essentially I did not get what I ordered and the number of issues I see lead me to believe the seller (InscapeModern) is aware and does not care about quality. I just initiated the return so we'll see how that goes.

Great chair, so-so assembly instructions
Absolutely love this chair. It is so ergonomically sound and makes working at my desk a breeze. My only complaint is that the assembly instructions were incomplete, and I had to scour the Internet to figure out how to install the lumbar support as well as the headrest. Not difficult to assemble once I found the directions, but definitely not intuitive nor included in the package. That said, love the chair and glad I purchased it.

This is the one I waited for so long
I've been riding an import, knock-off, mesh chair for 10 years...with some misgivings. Now I have the Aeron. This chair is NOT comfortable UNTIL you figure it out. Lot's of knobs that control everything and control YOU. It is very likely after a first sit-down you might not be happy but...make the adjustments, and there are a lot to make. Then you and chair become one. When that happens you will understand my statement. If you decide to buy this chair, know you are sitting in the Museum of Modern Art's top pick of office seating...it is the only chair that deserves this pick IMHO. H-M did a wonderful job in the design and construction of a chair that is made in the USA and not somewhere else. It has the "Right Stuff". Chairorama includes the neck rest made from the same web fabric that H-M used on the seat and back. Yes, H-M says no headrest is needed in the posture upright position but I like to recline a bit and rest my head - the included headrest is the correct answer. It is heavenly. You will not regret a headrest. I spend my day at a radio desk and need a chair I don't remember exists under me. If I feel it - likely wrong. If I forget I'm sitting in it - likely the one I need. No sweat with the web fabric. This the one I waited for...

Good chair with aftermarket headrest that doesn't fit
I like the chair, it is very comfortable. My complaint is with what was advertised versus what was received. The headrest is not Herman Miller and does not fit the chair. Additionally there were virtually no instructions to put the chair together. Most of the assembly was common sense but the back support, the part that did have instructions, was challenging and the instructions were a couple pictures and how to remove, not install. Still unsure if I got it right but since the chair is comfortable I'm leaving it as it is. Overall I definitely recommend the chair just don't expect a headrest that is usable and trial and error likely for assembly.
