I found these to be a great pair of boots
It's odd that I have received so many compliments on these boots. Who actually looks at your shoes?AppearanceWhen you first get them, they look very cool. Kind of all dry and dusty. The thing is, unless you are a famous actor that only intends to wear these once during your Tonight Show interview, you'll probably have to do some stuff. I've attached a photo to show what the boot initially looks like, and what it looks like after you apply mink oil, which of course, you HAVE to do (unless you are that actor). The mink oil is needed to soften up the leather and waterproof the boot. SO when you buy the boots, just buy the Mink oil too from somewhere. The photo shows what I bought but I don't think there is much difference what kind you get. Oil them up and let them sit overnight, then they are ready to wear.FitA lot of controversy here in these comments. I think overall, if you buy your size, the boots are kind of tight. Boots are sort of like that. Especially new ones. They need to stretch a little SO there is a little bit af time you will wear them where they will feel sort of tight. I'm not saying your boots should hurt, but they might a little. Just get over it you big baby. They settle in after a week or so and after a little more time, they feel like they are a part of you.CustomizeI don't think the boot makers put a whole lot of thought in their inserts. Just remember, these are NOT running shoes with high tech support. I think it's just whatever insert they could buy a million of cheaply. I always put my own inserts in anyway and I'd probably say you'll want to do that too. I swear by Superfeet insoles but get whichever ones fit your comfort preferences and budget. These are the things that will stop your heel from swimming around in the back of the boot too.Overall I love these boots. I took some photos of my boots after a month or so, but can't find them at the moment. Basically, they look pretty nice. Kind of in-between the two boots in the photo. If you apply mink oil after a couple of months, they return to the darker appearance and the cycle begins again. I have a hard time imagining what can really go wrong with these boots aside from the heel falling off or getting worn. And it looks like it's designed to be replaced. So if this is the style of boot you like, you will not be disappointed in these.

I used these nearly daily on a working ranch for over a year now.
It's been over a year now that I have used these nearly every day to tromp around in mud, dust, brambles, thistle, bamboo, black berries, and a whole bunch of other shi... stuff. They are 100 percent still functional but not nearly as purty as they once were. That right there says a whole lot about the quality of these kickers. For years I rocked a pair of size 12 Frye billy boots as my daily kicks. I always had the leather sole and they always lasted about 9 months before they were too ridden with holes to wear anymore. That is strictly city slicking it mind you. I returned to work my family ranch over a year ago and although Frye boots are extremely comforatable for my particular foot shape they are not a boot that would last out in the wild.I needed a pair of boots that would take some serious use (some might call abuse) and still protect my feet. I also needed these boots to cost significantly less than the high faluting foot wear my feet are accustomed to wearing. I was not gonna drop 300 plus on a pair of boots I figured would be tattered inside of 3 months.I needed boots that had a more resilient sole than leather but were constructed of leather everywhere else. I didn't want some stupid looking square toe because my feet are not that of a ducks. I decided that the boots should also incorporate a harness on them because why not? After a while searching on amazon for good cowboy boots I found these Dingo harness boots for under a bill. I liked the look of them, they met my requirements, and I think Dingos are cool so I got them in size 12 regular. I was not expecting these boots to be as great as they are. I wasn't expecting them to be half as well constructed as they are nor was I expecting them to be made from such high quality materials as they are. I Certainly did not foresee these boots as being as durable as they are. They have stopped every puncturous item I have stumbled on before it reached my foot. On more than one occasion they have deflected a misguided axe or machete ricochet. They have stomped out fires and wadded through creeks and have only responded with a clear "pshhht what else you got?"The only gripe I have about them is that the shaft circumstance is a tad wide for my liking. Boot cut jeans will fit over them fine but anything on the slim or skinny side is gonna look pretty stupid trying to go over them. These boots are now classified as tools in my book.I use the hell out of my tools. These boots have far exceeded my expectations in every way shape and form.

Very nice boots, but PAY ATTENTION to the reviews that say they run large. They DO. Also, the reviews mentioning a large heel area were pretty accurate too. Wanted to do an exchange for a half size smaller, but the very same boot in a size 8 was priced $50.00 more than the original boot ordered a few days prior. Couldn't quite understand that one, so I ended up ordering a different brand. (ordered a 1/2 size smaller in that one, and it fit just right...)

Sized Down
Quality seems great, look great. Insole doesn’t seem to be removable, so I wasn’t able to put my own after market cushion in there, with that said, there isn’t enough room to add one, and is a bit hard when wearing regular socks. It’s cold now so I am wearing LL Bean wool socks, and comfort is fine with them. I did size down from my usual 8 1/2 size to an 8 because of other reviews, and glad I did. I have ordered a couple other brands of boots in my normal 8 1/2 size and both are a little loose and clunky. I hate take a star off these very sharp looking boots, but the hard unremovable insole is the sole reason. These are fantastic boots.

Looking Good
These boots look better in person. The picture doesn't do them justice. As far as sizing goes, I wear a 12 4E in shoes. I got these in 12 XW. They fit a little loose. I put my insole in and they fit snugly now. If I had gone down even 1/2 a size they wouldn't have fit even without the added insole. Ordering the same as my shoe size worked for me. It's a really nice pair of boots at an excellent price.

Great boots, good leather, sizing on mine were off over 1 size..
These are great boots, but a full size too big for me. Feels like I'm walking around in flippers. I knew there might be size difference across brands, so I dropped a half size when I ordered and got the 10 but after putting them on I should have gotten a 9. Leather is great and sole as well, just didnt expect it to be such a huge difference in size...

no liner
I sent them back because I could even get my foot started into the boot there is no liner in them just the raw leather so very rough and difficult to fit yur foot into not like a cowboy boot that has a liner and yur foot just slips right in

Look good.
Nice looking boots and the common comment they are loose in the heel is true. Order your usual size and the right set of insoles solves the heel issue. However lets bear in mind that with Chinese stuff quality control is terrible. They might fall apart in six months, they might last twenty years. Buying Chinese is a crap shoot.

Great cow boy boot
My husband loves these, he wears them on a regular basis and is already talking about wanting another pair- we choose this brand over Harley Davidson and do not regret it one bit

Great boots!
My husband absolutely loves his dingos. He finds them comfortable and well made. They came with some sticky stuff where price tags were I believe, but not was easy enough to rub off. True to size and will last a very long time.
