The taper on the bottom of the actual tap is much too long until it actually starts cutting the threads, making it impossible to thread completely to the bottom of a hole. The pin that slides through the handle would be improved if it had another raised "lock" on both ends to prevent it from falling out when you're tapping. The measurements worked fine in relation to the tap threads and the screw threads, the aforementioned issue was the deal breaker for me, might be useful to someone else.
