I purchased a TacSew walking foot sewing machine so I could reupholster car interiors and have found myself doing more and more with piping. I have been making piping the harder way by hand folding and feeding it into the machine. This works out fine, but takes more time and often I need to restitch sections to get the leather covering tighter to the core. Having the right tool for the job is like night and day. The presser feet sets keep the material tightly wrapped around the core and positions the needle to stitch evenly right next to the core. This is making for much more accurate piping and taking me much less time to make it.
