It works great!
I used this on a NAS project when I realized I really needed one more PCI slot. Lucky for me, the motherboard I was using (out of a Dell Precision 3620 tower) had an M.2 slot, which I didn't really need for the NAS. I used this M.2 to PCIE adapter to connect a 4-port PCIE-x4 SAS HBA, and it's working beautifully. The build quality feels really solid. It even came with screws. It's perfect!

Make you you can get 3 volts if you are using a micro computer.
Doesn't pass the 3.3 volts needed for some pice cards. didn't work well in a micro Optiplex setup.

I purchased this adapter to run a NIC on a motherboard that lacked an additional PCIe slot. The adapter works well, I have had no issues with it.
