This bar works well for more than just curling. You can do shoulder presses, squats or maybe even bench press. The only slight issue is the lock nuts are not very tight around the threads so there could be an issue over time where the threads or nut gets stripped potentially.

it's a solid pole, and the grip isn't too sharp in the hand. I now know why olympic poles have a larger diameter. This thing does dig into your shoulders without a pad on it. I have the adjustable dumbbells by this same company & with this rod I've noticed that the nuts it came with are kinda shot. It's like the mould they cast the metal in was super worn when compaired to my dumbbells', but they work. At least the nuts on both products are interchangeable if I really have to.

Bought this for my son for Christmas, he is very pleased with this bar. It does weigh a lot on its own tho. Just an FYI. I couldn’t use it for myself as a 5’5 female. I had to buy a smaller more light weight one for me. My son is 6’2. Perfect for him. Good quality too. He loves it!

Bought this for our son. He is an avid weight lifter and has used this bar ever since he received it. He says that he likes how it has high weight capacity and doesn't feel that it bends at all.

I purchased four (4) Yes4All EZ Bars 47” sets.I pretty much like all Yes4All products. I’ve purchased plates, dumbbells, and kettlebells.The length is a perfect size for in-home use. They look solid, but if you are someone who drops or throws weights around, you might want to try another option.I gave away my previous weightlifting equipment to my nephew while I repainted my room. I will slowly be restocking.

I needed a bar I could use in my small workout room. A Six ft bar would have been optimum but still a little too long for my space. I have a portable squat rack so it can be adjusted to accommodate the bar and my hand spacing, as long as I am careful. But if you have a fixed squat rack, then this bar won't work with it. The hand spacing on the inside of the collars is about 36". So if you're going to do anything that requires a rack, keep this in mind. I only use this bar with weights under 100 lbs so I can't comment about anything over that and the use of this bar. For me, it suits my needs fine. The finish is excellent. It's a quality bar for the price. The box was damaged but everything was still intact inside.
