Surprising level of quality for this type of tool
I am pretty skeptical of non-brand name tools like this, particularly multi tools. This time I was surprised. The tool arrives in a nylon pouch, containing the tool. The pouch has a loop on the back so you can put it on your belt. The tool is made of high quality stainless steel, and has excellent machining and fit. It has a set of pliers which incorporates standard and needlenose jaws as well as a wire cutter. One handle contains a glass window breaker. There is a small bit holder, which has a reversible Philips and flat blade screwdriver bit. There is a set of scissors, a large and small knife, a saw, and a combination nut driver, bottle opener with other tools, a can opener, and a small file. The straight and serrated blades are wickedly sharp, and being stainless, should be immune to corrosion. There is a spring-loaded piece on the inside of each handle with an "unlock" icon on it - I'm not sure what this is for. Pushing it does nothing. Perhaps it is to help extract the various tools from the handle?Who is this for?- Anyone who needs a pocketfull of toolsPros:- Nice, solid locking tools- Very sharp blades- Thoughtful selection of tools- Tough carry caseCons:- Serrated blade knife will be very difficult to re-sharpen- Confusing "unlock" function

All the basics
Everyone needs at least one multi-tool. Either in your backpack or camping gear, fishing tackle box, or general tool box. Some of us (like me) prefer to have several so there's always one where I might need it.This is a perfectly serviceable multi-tool; while not quite to the quality of the big name brands. Cordura sheath is sturdy and well stitched; snap works as expected. You get the blades and tools you'' need most often - knife, pliers, saw, awl, can opener, bottle opener, file, scissors, rope cutter and a reversible screwdriver head. Another blade appears to be a small wrench - unsure how well that will work.Blades on one side (final pic) were VERY tight to open up. That might get better with a bit of lubricating oil and usage. This one will find a comfortable home in my tackle box.

Good quality
Cheaper than the name brands, but no compromise in quality. These tools are so handy to keep in vehicles, junk drawers, everywhere. At this price you can have several of them.

Good emergency tool kit
I have several of these multi-tools that I’ve been using for many years. I have inexpensive unknown brands, and I have very expensive big name brands. What I’ve learned is that IMO there are two classes of these tools. You have the top-tier L&ather-man, S@G, and G&rber, and then you have everything else. This 18-in-1 multi-tool by GOESCHANGE is in the ‘everything else’ category. It works pretty well, but there are lots of things I don’t like about it. Here are a few.First, the top-tier brands have excellent warranties. They stand squarely behind their products with either a lifetime warranty or at least 25 years. The extremely high quality justifies those warranties, and that’s why professionals buy and use them. GOESCHANGE has a 6-month warranty, uses thinner, more mediocre steel, and lacks the fit, finish, and overall quality control that the big names have. On the other hand, this is under thirty dollars. There are a lot of attachments on this multi-tool, but I had difficulty in opening some, and had to use another screwdriver just to open them. I also found that one of the locking mechanisms, as well as the spring for the scissors, didn’t work at all. YMMV. But it’s not all bad.*** Pros ***=> Decent price for what you get=> Large tool selection=> Blade locks=> Spring loaded pliers=> Pocket clip, as well as nice belt sheath=> More ‘tools’ than I would ever use, but if you’re a gizmo guy, this may be for you.*** Cons ***=> Mediocre, thin steel=> Spring for scissors doesn’t work at all=> Lock for wrench tool doesn’t work at all=> I couldn’t get some attachments out without using another tool.=> Below average fit and finish=> Non-replaceable wire cutter blades=> Not able to open one-handedThe best I can give this is 3 stars. For the price, it’s tough to beat, and worth having in your kit. I wouldn’t count on this for daily, hard use, but in a SHTF situation, it might be your best friend. This will never be the pride of my tool collection, but one day it just might save my butt.I hope this helps.

Versatile tool for when better is not available
This seems to be a well constructed multi-tool that could get you out of a jam quite nicely on occasion. It's not quite the quality of a Leatherman or Gerber, but it's not got the premium price, either. The tools all seem to work, though some of the uses in their ads are a bit of a stretch (using pliers for removing nuts, cutting tree branches with the saw, etc.). Still, all of these could be done and useful if there were no other methods available and the need was a priority. Some of the various pullouts are a bit stiff, but this might loosen up with use. All in all, a good buy, assuming the metal holds up to use.

Well Built and built to last
This feels like a well built multi-tool that you can take out to the middle of no-where and feel like you have a tool to get you through what ever comes your way. It's a bit on the heavy side but nothing too bad.I've tried my luck with several of these types of tools in the past only to find the pieces break or bend at the slightest bit of pressure but this one holds its ground and does the job. It's about the size of a cell phone, as seen in the images, but heavier.Easy enough to pack in a backpack or carryon case.Overall satisfied with this 18-in-1 Multitool.
