Charged upon arrival for about 2 hours till full charge. Instructions were clear on how to use but not how to fill which twists in half to fill tank with any type of soap and added a little water to thin the thickness. Powered on and adjusted how much is dispensed with the push of a button. Takes very light soap and uses less with better results. A little goes a long way. I have used it for about 2 weeks with three people using everyday and it is still fully charged so will last a very long time. I love everything about this dispenser it is so handy and keeps the sink so much cleaner. Will definitely purchase a few more for dispensing shampoo and other cleaning products as well as dish detergent. It actually extends the use of the product it defenses. Does not dispense just randomly and accurately detects hand so placement of the soap only goes in your hand with very low noise. Well worth and will pay for itself in the product it saves.

I've had this dispenser for 2 months now. It gets used (it is in the kitchen) about 15 to 20 times daily. IT STILL HAS A FULL CHARGE from the first time that I charged it! That blows my mind.You can adjust the amount of soap it dispenses, and it's easy to refill. I was having a hard time finding awesome smelling foaming soap, it was also double the price of liquid soap. But then I learned the 4 to 1 rule, and now I make my own from liquid hand soap that I love. (Whatever measurement of the liquid you use, then 4 of the same that's water. Ex: 1 tablespoon soap, 4 tablespoons water.) That bottle of liquid soap now will last 4 times longer.When your hands have gunk on them, you don't touch the dispenser, it is so sanitary. It's also very easy to refill. I have since purchased these for all of our bathrooms, and will be buying them as Christmas gifts also. Best little gadget out there, I am thoroughly impressed!

It's a nice unit but fairly difficult to set up as the instructions are not clear - it takes trial and error. On the lowest setting, it barely dispenses enough soap to wash a baby's hands. We have it on the highest setting which gives you an ok amount of soap but we wish it were a bit more. Other than that we are pleased with this dispenser.
