Lenox Butterfly Meadow Monarch Accent Plate

It is good to be able to replace items in this wonderful pattern that I have loved for years.

I bought 4 of them (different pattern) for my step mother-in-law. She is a flower lover. My idea was to let her use them to eat food. I shipped directly to her house, but forgot to tell her my idea. The next time I visited her, I saw them hanging on her wall in the kitchen. They are very beautiful, otherwise she won't put them up as decoration. Originally, I wanted to purchase several pieces every year to get her a set in the course of several years. Now, I have to give up the idea because I don't want her to hang up dishes all over her house.

I ordered two plates and they are beautiful. However, I was not impressed with the way they were packaged for shipping. There was just a flimsy sheet of cardboard separating the plates and I could hear them clattering around inside the box. I half expected to see a bunch of shards when I opened the box, but to my delight they were in tact. I think the delivery man should be given credit for keeping them safe. He must have avoided all the bumps in the road.

The butterfly and flower on the plate are very realistic depiction like real painting.. This is more sturdy and thicker than Indonesia product. I prefer USA product like this plate.
