Creates a Bond that Can't be Broken
When it comes to heavy duty glue, this Akfix hybrid polymer construction adhesive bonding is no joke. Was recently replacing an old rusty mailbox with a larger, much heavier one. Didn’t have the right masonry bits to drill all four holes through the concrete wall, so I opted to improvise a bit. Carefully applied some of this waterproof adhesive around the outer edge of the mailbox with a gloved hand to be more precise before mounting it to the wall with 2 of the four screws. This stuff over exceeded my expectations. The bond it created between the concrete wall and steel mailbox was so strong that I could probably do the Running Man on top of it and it wouldn’t budge an inch. Provided an added benefit of completely sealing the mailbox’s rear from back entry by rain or little insects. My mail and packages are now totally protected from Mother Nature’s wraf. This Hybrid High Tack Polymer adhesive is really good. Highly recommend using a caulking gun for proper application in more complex jobs.

SHIPPED WITHOUT TIP!
I purchased this product for a repair I had planned to due earlier but was delayed in completing the project due to weather. When I went to use it I was confused by the shape of the tip since it was basically nonexistent. Having never used this product I came back to this site to see how to use it and realized it was shipped without the tip! This was extremely disconcerting. I am a disabled senior on a fixed income that out of necessity I must learn to do repairs without prior experience. YouTube videos have been helpful. I missed the return window. Now I need to purchase construction adhesive again. I can assure you it will NOT be this product.

It’s no joke amazing
This thing is no joke I was impressed by the results. I had a crack on my brick wall an since it’s white I needed something that would blend in that would actually work an it did.

Very thick, don't use for light construction with smooth materials
I should probably give this five stars because I tried to use it for a different purpose than described. I was guilty of thinking that the use of the words "heavy building materials" in the product description was a marketing exaggeration, trying to make it sound like it was "heavy duty" compared to other construction adhesives. I think instead that it was an honest indication that this adhesive is intended for use on rough materials like stone and brick - that it will fill in gaps and adhere irregularly shaped objects. It really is intended for use in heavy construction, not in more delicate applications. I used it for adhering lumber in a project that probably had closer tolerances than those for which this product was designed. I would have liked the material to squeeze out of the tube a bit easier and to be a bit less stiffly viscous, and to squeeze down into a finer film between two surfaces. I probably should have used something closer to wood glue. So, I will say that using a caulking gun to apply it, this adhesive comes out of the tube slowly, requiring a firm, constant squeeze on the trigger. It is not initially terribly sticky like some of the thinner construction adhesives, and I mean that as a positive comment, it is not as messy. It stiffens up a bit in a bond as quickly as 15 minutes but I'd give it over night to cure securely. The little bit of excess material that squeezed out of my joints - I left it as an experiment - cured to a stiff, strong, rubbery consistency. I regret using this stuff in the wrong application, because I suspect that it is "the bomb" for adhering stone or brick or rough lumber in heavy construction where tolerances are a bit vague and a stiff excess layer of adhesive gets forced into the texture of the materials. I believe that it would provide great grip but would also provide a bit of vibration isolation and just a proper amount of flex before breaking. Hopefully, someone will review this in exactly the right application and will be able to confirm its performance.

Amazing stick and hold adhesive
This adhesive provides amazing stick and hold properties. I used it to reapply broken tiles to dirty and powdery, exterior cinder block pillars. It worked great. It is very thick so you will encounter difficulty applying it with a standard caulk gun.
