MAGICYOYO V10 Professional Unresponsive Yoyo for Adults, Advanced Metal Yoyo with 12 Strings, Yo Yo Glove, Case

It’s been close to 40 years since I had a yoyo, and it was wooden. You wouldn’t think there would be much room for evolution with such a simple toy, but, as my wife keeps telling me, I’m wrong.The aluminum alloy in this yoyo from MAGICYOYO gives it a fair amount of weight and the anodized colors are bright and eye-catching. In the center is a bearing that prevents the yoyo from returning automatically, hence the term unresponsive.I was impressed by all the extra, colorful strings that were included. Back in my day, we had to buy a package of strings separately. It also comes with a well-crafted carrying case to protect it when it inevitably winds up tossed in a drawer until it is rediscovered. There are plenty of detailed instructions and illustrations to get a newbie started and my son was showing me tricks after just a couple of hours of practice.I can’t express how nice it is to see him enjoying something other than video games. That alone is worth the price of this yoyo, but the craftsmanship and accessories make it even better.

This is a very nice unresponsive metal yo yo! It is solid metal construction with a very good barring on it. A quick flick gets you a lot of spin time to work on your tricks and yo yo stunts. The overall set comes with a small case, several string of multiple colors, and the yo yo. This is a UNRESPONSIVE yo yo though so you need to keep that in mind. It will not come back to you with the typical flick of the wrist. You have to learn a trick to get it to re-wind up. This is easy to learn but does take practice. There are many videos on-line that demonstrate the techniques needed to re-wind the yo yo and do other tricks. Overall though it you are into yo yo's or want to learn how to do more advance tricks this is a nice one to work with. I am very pleased with it and plan to work with my son to learn more and more tricks.

Does what it should and makes tricks considerably easier. Nice quality, but I find the shape a little uncomfortable ( I'm used to traditional yoyos. I'm sure I'll get used to it), but it's shape serves a purpose for tricks. A novice will become frustrated with an unresponsive yoyo until they understand how they work and why they perform the way they do. I would consider this a performance yoyo, and would highly recommend it for it's intended purpose.

I really have been enjoying playing around with this yoyo. It looks really nice, the pieces are all of high quality. The zippered case for this yoyo is really nice as well. Would make a great gift for a preteen.
