Size was loose for 2T but she LOVES this little shorts “ dress” . Lightweight not sure how it will wash

Cute but shorts area is costume material feeling, and I guess we are a little less petite than the average toddler- longer torso- so she complained that the shorts were riding up in the front and back. We gave to a cousin that is the same age but more petite and fit perfect if not loose.I would have purchased the next size up for our girl but just because I already knew the shorts material, we decided to skip it. Just like in women's clothing if you have a longer torso, anything romperish is going to ride up
