This is my second time purchasing a portable monitor from this company. I really like my first 17.3-inch portable monitor. It fits in my small carry-on suitcase, making it convenient to take on short trips. This time, I got the slightly larger 18.4-inch model (Newsoul Portable Monitor 4K 18.4 inch). It arrived in a sturdy box with all the necessary accessories. The setup instructions were straightforward. Adjusting the display settings both on my MacBook and ThinkPad was equally simple, and it was up and running in no time. The display is crisp and clear, making it a joy to use for my work.One of the primary reasons I got this monitor was for its versatility. I often set up an external display in various parts of my house, such as the living room or kitchen, to break away from my home office. The large 18.4-inch display significantly enhances my productivity, and despite its size, it's still easy to move around the house. Additionally, I take this monitor on longer trips lasting over a month. It offers the perfect balance of a large display and portability, ensuring I have an excellent work setup wherever I go.The sleek metal case is both stylish and sturdy, providing excellent protection. The magnetic cover is thin, ensuring it doesn't add bulk when packing the monitor in a travel case or suitcase. It's also sturdy enough to protect the screen during travel, giving me peace of mind. The magnetic cover is versatile, too—it holds the monitor firmly at my preferred viewing angle and is detachable for added convenience.<Excellent customer service>I must highlight the company's exceptional customer service. At my first purchase, one of the cables didn't work correctly. I reached out to customer service, and they responded quickly with various troubleshooting steps. Despite my delayed responses due to travel, they remained patient and, once the issue was identified, promptly sent me a replacement cable. This positive experience left a lasting impression, and I didn't hesitate to choose this company again for my second monitor.After receiving my new 18.4-inch monitor, I had a few questions about different settings. This is the biggest portable monitor that will fit in a regular backpack. It works great, it's reliable. It turns on automatically when you plug it via USB C to your PC or Mac. I have both types of laptops and have no problem with either.If you plug it in without power to the wall, it will be a little dimmer but if you don't mind the fast power drain I was able to manually move the brightness to max and it worked just fine.I like that it has a case/kickstand built in, no need for an extra step taking it out of a separate case, plus those separate cases are bulky.The screen quality is great, no problem leaving it at full 4k resolution, all the text on my screen are crisp for reading. Video playback is good too, no complaints. Only thing that's not super great are the speakers, but I've never seen any monitor with speakers that wowed me.

Monitor has a good image quality, at least in the beginning. The cover that come along with the product works fine. It has 2 main connections: Mini HDMi and USB-C. Good to know that in the box you will get those 2 cables available. The only question here is the menu, which is not that easy to make changes. But this is a minor issue at all. The portability is an issue if you plan to carry on in a backpack that does not support a 18" note. So, it must be big. in my case, as I'm going to use as my 2nd monitor at home, with VESA support (another notable feature about this model as well) is not a big deal. In summary, it is worth every penny.

I bought this screen 3 months ago and it has been great as a travel screen. Until - I noticed that there is a defect. Only super noticeable when the screen is black - but definitely wasn't there a day or two ago. After contacting the manufacturer, they offered me a replacement unit and a lifetime warranty! Problems can occur with any product, but its the customer service that gives you peace of mind. It was definitely worth the purchase.
