I have been loving this. I have never liked stick deodorant, but this goes on smooth and doesn't irritate my skin. There is some light residue against dark fabric, but I am impressed by the sheerness of the formula. Its almost like a firm lotion. The scent is clean and masculine and lasts a long time. Even when the fragrance has worn off, I still don't have body odor. I can wear this by itself, but appreciate that the scent works well with my cologne. The antiperspirant works very well for me. Overall I am extremely pleased with this purchase and am happy to finally find a suitable replacement since my favorite deodorant was discontinued. Many reviews mention that this is expensive, but I think this is fairly priced considering that only 3-4 swipes lasts all day, so I will get more days from this stick than I would from a gel; and this is a luxury grade product suitable for sophisticated tastes. I took a chance on this after researching many products and I am satisfied with my choice. I have the pit boss and zen scents and love them both.

I wanted to not like this product. I purchased it based on researching men's deodorants that work, smell good, and don't feel "uncomfortable" when wearing them. I started to sweat a bit more under my arms as I've gotten older, never really did as a kid, so deodorant was fine because antiperspirants usually made me itchy and uncomfortable. This goes on easily, smells good for a long time (very strong to start, but settles down after a while), and works as advertised. It's very expensive, but so far works well and I'm impressed by it. Wanted to review, i had this prior to changes in packaging,( older version), while packaging changed, the end results is that performance seems the same, There appears to be a very slight smell difference but not much but this performs great on me, no stainning and very effective odor control,, The performance is what mattters and this is my go 2 for excellent protection Still amazing product

Jack Black is the best male skincare product line. The same can be said for the Pit Boss antiperspirant. The smell is fresh and clean and the product works well. Yes, it's expensive but it's worth it.

This is my first time purchasing Jack Black Pit Boss and I’m very happy with it. I got the midnight blue fragrance and it smells really nice but not completely over powering. Wasn’t sure what fragrance to get but this one is awesome. Always heard of jack black but stayed away because of the price. I’m glad I finally broke down and got it because it’s worth the price. It lasts a long time, day or more at least and haven’t noticed any irritation at all. Putting it on at night helps too with absorption and all. I used old spice for a long time but doesn’t work like it used too, for me anyways. I’ll definitely be buying this again! Highly recommend Midnight Blue. This is the type of scent I’ve been looking for.

When I first discovered the OG Pit Boss, it was an angelic choir, heavens opening up moment. Here's why... I am a large gentleman of the wider variety, with that comes sweat and some smell, I have been searching for a heavy duty anti perspirant that also smells amazing, Pit Boss was that, even in the dead of summer it functioned beautifully. Now I assumed I would be getting that with the Black Reserve as I love the scents of both cardamom and cedarwood, now don't get me wrong, this functions as well as Pit Boss as an anti perspirant and the scents are on point, however they just are too subtle and don't stand out as much as the Pit Boss which was really disappointing as this was going to be my special occasion stick. I'd give this 5 stars if the scent was a bit more robust.

I thought it was crazy to spend the amount on deodorant that this product cost, but it has been the only product I have ever used that works. Next time I will buy the bulk deal. I just wanted to try it out first before buying three sticks. With that being said, I could never find a product that would work all day that was a stick deodorant / antiperspirant . I have tried them all and they either did not last long, or I had to physically scrub the product from under my arm with a nail brush and shampoo. I finally found a spray that worked well, but still I had to scrub the product out during a shower with a nail brush to get this residue off. The Jack Black Pit Boss is the best I have ever used. I use it and it last all day, I still scrub my underarm area with a nail brush out of habit as I have had to do this for years now, but I have noticed that it is the first product that last all day and will wash out without scrubbing. I have been trying to break the habit of scrubbing so hard, so I am now just using a shampoo I use daily to wash it away. It doesn't leave the nasty residue like the brand I was using. I have yet to find a Jack Black product I have not continued to use after trying it out. UPDATE: It's been close to over three months since I Purchased this item. I am still using the same stick that I bought and wrote this review about. I have not had any issues at all. It's the best anti-perspiration solution I have found. My old brand was hard to find and often the spray would either not work properly or the propellant would leak out, leaving me with a half can of useless product. I am using this daily and still have not had any of the issues others are talking about. It doesn't stain my shirts, it doesn't leave residue that's white and chunky, and I am still using the same stick from my original purchase. The size of the stick is deceiving as it last longer than I thought it ever would. If you are having a build up of chunky white "goop", you are most likely using too much. A little goes a long way with most Jack Black products. I just use a couple of swipes and that's it. This is the first of many failed products that has ever lasted two days time before I start to notice body odor. I generally am very OCD about showering and it's not uncommon for me to shower twice in one day. We had a water supply line break and it took two days to fix, I thought I was going to have to go to the Gym to shower, but I didn't have too as I could not smell myself. My old brand usually lasted until bedtime and I would start to notice it was wearing off. This one wasn't a problem at all. Quite surprised and very satisfied. I would have either wasted or used way more of my old spray brand than I have spent on this product. Will continue to use as well as several other Jack Black products as they are all great for my sensitive skin type. No break outs from any of the facial products or the shaving products. These products do cost more, but they go a long way and work great.

My husband suffers from lymph nodes swelling under his armpits if the deodorant is not right plus he has a strong odor when he is sweating. This one is the only one that actually works. No more swelling and uncomfortable odors, really thankful
