Bob Miller's Calc for the Clueless: Calc II Paperback – 16 January 1998

There's nothing in this book that you can't find in your Calc II textbook, but 98% of the fat has been drained. You jump right in and go over what you need to know. The author sometimes does not explain every little step. At first I found this horrifying, but I've grown to appreciate it. I somehow always seem to have all the info I need to figure out a problem in a few minutes. I assume there's value in that, but I can not confirm it.I have a system where I do my real Calc II work downstairs and keep this book for practice upstairs. It is 100% valuable for that.I do not think this book is meant to replace your textbook. I think it is meant to be supplemental source when the textbook inevitably fails.

One should know that the BOB MILLER'S HELPER series is the same as the FOR THE CLUELESS series. They have different cover design but the materials inside are exactly the same. Overall both books in any subject are well designed and will give you foundation for better understanding of college material

For used books these were in pretty good shape. There were signs of use and some slight bent out of shape pages and covers. The books were easy to read and illustrations helped me to understand the concepts that were covered in class.

Excellent book

I have not received the book I ordered and have tried to contact the vendor without any success. This will limit my trust in Amazon.com for any future purchasses.
