Perfect for my pergola — great value

Super high quality
I used these rods for installing a 5in by 5in steel column in my garage for a custom electrical project. After drilling holes in the garage floor, I used epoxy to secure them in and they've been holding like a champ!

I always like to test the quality or grade of the stainless steel by trying to adhere magnets to the rod. I’m glad to say that I couldn’t get a magnet to stick to these rods which puts it on the higher end of the scale for stainless steel quality. The threads are well milled and the rods arrived with no damage whatsoever to the threads or rods. The thread count is perfect and threading a compatible nuts onto the rods was easy they tightened down well with no slop or play in the threads. The rods were straight with no visible bends or defects in their manufacturing. Just a great, high quality rod that will definitely suit your needs.

The threaded rods are well made, the thread fits nuts well. This is a good deal for threaded rods, in my opinion.

Like someone else posted, 304 stainless is not supposed to be magnetic. First thing I did was test it, and it has ferrite in it. Go to a reputable metal shop, bring a magnet with you. Don't take chances.
