- Men's Sweatproof Undershirt - Cotton Deep V Neck - Original Fit - with Sweat Pads

I don’t usually take the time to write reviews, but I felt I had to say what a positive difference these t-shirts have made in my husband’s life. For years and years he has lived with trying to find a fix for, and work around, underarm sweating that soaked through his “regular” undershirts and left huge wet areas under his arms and even spreading out below that, and sometimes even around the front of his dress shirts. He is a financial guy, and attends many client meetings, so it’s important for him to look cool, calm, and in control, and not hot, bothered, and sweaty. He had to limit his dress shirt wardrobe to colors and fabrics that wouldn’t show the sweat as badly, and was self conscious about it to the point where he kept his arms tight to his sides during meetings, and wouldn’t dream of raising his arm to point something out, or gesturing to add emphasis to something he was saying. He tried using those sweat pads that you stick to your undershirt, but he had to use two of those on each side, it was hard to get those in the right spot, and, inevitably, the sweat leaked out around them anyway, onto his shirts. Then I saw these t-shirts on Amazon, and read the overwhelmingly positive reviews, and thought - what the heck, he might as well give them a try… Well the difference these t-shirts have made in his work - and even in my husband’s life - has been amazing. The first day he wore one to the office, he felt himself sweating, and thought, “Oh no, here we go,” but when he checked it out, there was no sweat staining his shirt anywhere. He stayed dry and comfortable, and his shirt stayed sweat-free and pristine the whole day. That has continued every single day since. He says that he feels so confident now that he isn’t trying to hide underarm sweat stains at work every day, that he doesn’t think he sweats as much as he used to. But he knows that if does sweat, with these t-shirts, his shirt will stay dry, and he will maintain his professional image. (He says that the underarm pads on the t-shirt also seem to wick moisture away.) Now he doesn’t have to limit his choice of dress shirt colors to the ones that aren’t as likely to show sweat. He can raise his arms without fear, and just generally feels calmer, and in control. He has now purchased enough of these t-shirts to last the week, and would never go back to regular t-shirts again. He orders the deep v-neck style so you don’t see the t-shirt under his dress shirt at the neckline, and followed the instructions to size down one size, so the pads are close to his body. Also, since these t-shirts are cotton, they are cool and comfortable. If you have a problem with underarm sweating, obviously my husband highly recommends these t-shirts! I can honestly say that they have changed his life in the best way!

I have never written an Amazon review before, but this Thompson Tee was so incredible, I feel compelled to do so!! I heard of this product from a recent article in Buzzfeed for people that perspire more than others. It could be 45 degrees outside, and I will be sweating. I'm just one of those guys, I'm always running hot temperature wise, and my wife calls me a "furnace." When I am at work (Furniture Sales) I am constantly running around the sales floor, lifting and moving heavy objects, working with the public, etc. By 11:00am, my arm pits are already saturated! I wear a black sports coat all day in order to hide my perspiration stains. When I read about Thompson Tee's, I was skeptical. And the price is $30, not exactly cheap! But I decided to try it. At first, upon opening the package, I thought the overall material was too light weight, and the V-neck was cut too low! But I later realized after putting it on, that this was perfect for not feeling a "heavy" under shirt, and the with the lower V cut, all of my button up oxford shirts do not show that I am wearing an under shirt! That is very well thought out, and my wife loves not having to see my undershirt poking out anymore!! So, how does it hold up with sweat? All I can say is HOLY MOLY!! You can feel the sweat pads soaking up everything, and never once bleeding sweat stains through the shirt!! I was completely shocked that for the first time in decades, I was not having to hide my sweat stained shirt under a sports coat!! Talk about re-newed confidence!! I could not believe that not once during my 10 hour shift did I EVER show any perspiration on my oxford shirt! And it has continued to work every time after washing as well!! I am ordering several more of these, because at $30 per investment, they are also saving my expensive sports coats and suits from constant dry cleaning bills, and costly replacement!! I HIGHLY recommend Thompson Tee if you excessively perspire under the arms!

I have always had slight over-perpetration issues, but recently I have no longer been able to comfortably compensate for this issue with wardrobe modifications and anti-perperants because I was prescribed 75mg minocycline 2x daily for acne reduction, which caused my sweating to become extremely excessive. I had never before dealt with this amount of sweating before, and even regular undershirts wouldn’t do the trick, and were also less easy to hide under clothes. This product is meant to be worn UNDER another shirt that would usually cause unwanted amounts of perspiration. For this use of the product, it was simply impeccable. The product I received was slightly looser-fitting than I presumed, but I instantly understand when I put it on, feeling the comfortable looseness and mobility provided, and also the nice gap between the sweat pad and my underarm. This product is very easy to conceal because of the deep V neck, and also very effective at catching perspiration. Under a sweater, dress shirt, AND a wool coat, not a single drop of sweat passed through the pads. It tucks in great under any pair of pants (or shorts if you’re still able to pull of a style like that), and it’s great to finally feel confident wearing casual dress clothes without worrying about excessive perspiration, and being able to take my acne medication every day. Despite the sweat being captured in the pads, I found it very easy to adjust to because of the looser fit, and definitely more comfortable than wearing regular clothes with sweat caught in the underarms. I would reccomend this product to anyone with light or excessive sweating who is looking for a way to stop perspiration under their current wardrobe, or anyone with light sweating who is looking for a healthy alternative to anti persperant and still willing to continue deodorant usage. The shirt is what it says it is, but I think it’s not worth the price point for a single undershirt. It’s not quite as high of quality as I was hoping for given the price either. The v neck is VERY deep, which is what I was looking for, but just keep that in mind if that’s not what you want. The sizing also seems quite a bit off. I normally wear med shirts (I can wear smalls but they’re pretty snug), so I got a small after reading the comments and hearing it’s usually a bit big. I would still say the small feels closer to a large to my expectations. I would’ve even gone down another size (to an XS), which I would never normally be able to wear. Just keep that in mind if you order one. It will be a nice undershirt to have for specific occasions, but I don’t think I would purchase it again.

The sizing is whack. First, Amazon recommended a large, which I got, but it came out to be as large as an apron. Then I sent it back and switched to a medium, which was still very big. I am stuck with two pairs, which I need to send back for the 3rd time to try a small; maybe it will fit. This has been a journey with their sizing, though the material is solid.

Not often that I can say a piece of clothing has changed my life. Being a pretty big dude, when I get hot I tend to get drenched. As I often wear long sleeve dress shirts for work, this has always been somewhat embarrassing. These undershirts work. They really keep the moisture off of me and off my shirts. They somehow dissipate it off into the air. I had a few that arrived in my order with a tiny hole near the neckline. Not a big deal but I did let the seller know in case it was a batch defect. They immediately sent me replacements. Excellent product and customer service! Be sure to wash these on ‘delicate’ and do not put in dryer. Hang up and let them air dry.

I'm a lady, but a fat lady. So: A) the ladies' sizing in these shirts felt like they wouldn't accommodate my ample bosom and backfat - 50" around at my widest. B) The ladies' shirt sleeves were all so short as to seem non-functional in terms of blocking sweat. So, I decided to go with these deep V-neck dudely sized ones. I usually wear an XL in dude/unisex tees, but after hemming and hawing and reading reviews, I went with size L in this one. For me, sizing down was the right move. The shirt fits me snugly in a way that works very well as an undershirt. If I'd gone with my regular size, I think the shirt would have fit too baggy to work well as an underlayer. So - I agree with the reviews that recommend sizing down for that purpose. Also, I agree that the armpit pads get sorta moist feeling throughout the day, lol. But you know what? I don't care!!! If my armpits feel moist in this shirt, I know it's working! And it does work, amazingly well - no matter how much my pits perspire, my blouses, sweaters, and longsleeves stay pristine and pitstain-free. I have laundered this shirt a few times, and it comes out looking great & working the same each time, no shrinkage or loss of function. These are great, and I highly recommend them for people of all genders. They give me such peace of mind - I don't have to think about the state of my pits anymore! You really can't put a price tag on calm - for me, these are totally worth the money and I'm getting more!

Ok, let me first say I stumbled across this tee because I have hyperhidrosis, and I was looking on Amazon for a new anti-perspirant. I read the reviews, and I thought this may be something that could help me. I always wear dark color shirts, mainly because I sweat so bad that there would be a huge sweat stain under each arm when I wore lighter colors. I thought it was pretty expensive, so it must be pretty well made. Well I got it today, and I'm not impressed. It's a VERY light material, almost like a FOTL tee you'd get in a 4 pack for $10. The only difference is the padding under the arms, so I guess you're paying a lot for the extra sewing. I got an XL, which I normally wear in a tee. I put this on, and it fits VERY form fitting, almost like spandex. I don't care for that very much. And about that padding under the arm- it makes a noise when I raise my arms up! It's almost like the sound of paper rustling. I sure hope no one hears it, they'll say what the heck is going on with your shirt! If the quality and fit were MUCH better, I'd say this may be worth almost 30 bucks with shipping (for ONE tee??), as it is I'd say no way, I won't spend this much for another one. On, just so I'm not saying only negative things about it, the deep V neck is perfect under a 2 or 3 button polo shirt, can't see it at all. But listen closely, you may just HEAR it!

Ein gutes T-Shirt wenn man viel Schwitzt. Das T-Shirt hat große Schweisspolster wodurch sie auch bei starkem Schwitzen über Stunden trocken halten. Ich habe sie nun schon seid einigen Wochen und trage täglich eins. Auch nach mehreren Waschgängen und mehrmaligem tragen sind sie absolut zufriedenstellend. Die Polster unter den Armen sind größer und etwas dicker als bei den meisten anderen Anbietern was manche Leute stören könnte. Für mich ist es jedoch absolut perfekt und nach 1-2 x tragen hatte ich mich dran gewöhnt und merke es garnicht mehr. Vor dem ersten Wasschen sollte man ejdoch im Inetrnet mal suchen wie man solche Shirts richtig wäscht da man die Polster durch falsche Waschmittel, Temperaturen oder falsches Aufhängen auch beschädigen kann. Ich habe mit folgendem Vorgang sehr gute Erfahrungen gemacht und habe bei 10 T-Shirts nach je ca 10 Waschgängen noch kein einziges defektes. 1. T-Shirt auf 30/40 Grad Waschen (Ohne Weichspüler und kein Vollwaschmittel oder andere Agressivere Zusätze) 2. T-Shirt auf eine Trockenleine hängen, dabei aber schauen das der Achselbereich(Polser) nicht zerknittert sind oder geknickt (Achselbereich sauber ausstülpen, glatt streichen und hängen lassen) Das macht 5 Sekunden mehr Arbeit aber dafür halten sie lange.

Sizes are on the big size. If you're a medium get the small. If you have a sun burn the fabric will scratch and hurt. (I had to wear a different tshirt on those days). However it does what it says it does. I had no stains seem through to my dress shirts and I use charcoal deodorant. My dry cleaners said it's worse than gas to get out so this tshirt saved me lots of $$
