Not the cheapest but one of the best.
The media could not be loaded. This is an excellent switch for operating lighting or other devices when movement in a room is detected. If, like me, you pay the electricity bill but live with people who constantly leave lights on then this switch is a must. Well made from premium material this sensor switch from Rayzeek not only performs well but looks smart. It is very easy to fit to any ceiling with just three screws. The screw-fixing holes are hidden from view beneath the removable outer cover which is released from the main body by a simple twist. With the cover removed you also have access to the three connection terminals 1(L) = live feed, 2(L1) = load (to your light), 3(N) = neutral. You can position it anywhere that it will be most effective for detection and wherever you can get access to the lighting circuit which you wish to control (bear in mind the need for a neutral connection). It is quite lightweight so will be easily securely and supported by standard plasterboard fixings or even nano-tape adhesive.Setting up: unlike others where you have to fiddle with little knobs or minute turn-screws and try and guess the settings, this setup is extremely easy. There are three buttons beneath the cover which are pressed to set (1) sensitivity (to movement), (2) luminance (ambient light level before operation), and (3) time (delay before turning off automatically). Each button has a number of tiny LED’s adjacent which indicate the setting change when pressed (by set increments). The enclosed instruction leaflet is very clear and easy to follow, you also get screws & plugs, a fitting template and there’s even an online instruction video.Maybe not the cheapest movement sensor switch out there but, in my opinion, one of the best. Now I never come down to find my cloakroom light left on.

Works well; requires some decent electrical skill to fit; no earth connection
This unit replaces one I already had installed that's been working for 15 years or so in our upstairs hallway and is connected to low-level lighting, with the idea of giving some dim light when people need to pop to the bathroom at night, without having to find the light switch. This unit was fairly easy to fit, but as another reviewer has pointed out, there is no earth connection, so care has to be taken to maintain an earth loop when fitting. Sensitivity is decent, and the price is pretty good for a unit like this.

Does the job
Easy to install. Easy to use and has good brightness.

Dead on Arrival
Wired up per diagram — passes power through but no LED nor control, or intended operation.

Does the Job intended
Our three floor town house mens walking down three flights of stairs to the front door an the light in the hallway tends to be left on as the switch is close to the door so no light until you get there. Rather than the light being left on for 24 hours some time back I fitted s battery light with a motion sensor on the wall so there was some safety light. That has worked well so this was ordered to provide s better and more permanent solution. It does need a quite large hole in the ceiling so rather than make a hole and find it did not do the job I made a temporary wiring connection and then just taped it to the ceiling surface. It did actually work exactly as I had hoped so the temporary fix can be be changed to a permanent solution. The only dense now is occasionally the light gets turned off by the wall switch in rarer as it is a multi switch controlling other lights. Still thinking about the best solution to the one.

Useful Power Saver If You Have Kids
I've used a few of these around my house over the years such as the downstairs toilet in order to prevent children and grandchildren from leaving the damn things on. And the work. This one is the same as I've bought under a few different names and thus pick your price and get the cheapest. They are all the same and seem to have similar levels of build quality. It fits mostly recessed in the ceiling where it will accurately turn on the lights and turn them off again after your set time period. Works a treat especially in a downstairs toilet. In terms of longevity it kind of depends upon how many times it's activated because there's a relay inside that will eventually crap out. I've had this happen twice over the last five years in a regularly used lobby area and once in my downstairs loo.Overall, a useful way to 'Let There Be Light.' And more importantly, 'Let There Be Dark.'

Great motion detection.
This 360 ceiling mount pir is brilliant. It's pretty compact and has a wide range of adjustable parameters. You can set the amount of time the lights stay on at the press of a button from 15 seconds to 30 minutes. Also you can adjust the lux daylight sensor and the sensitivity from high to low. It's easy to install with a live and neutral and one switched live coming out. It can be used on all types of lighting from led to halogen. The cover simply twists of with a quarter turn to access the cable and control buttons. It's a very tight fit to the ceiling and low profile design. I have installed this in my hallway to automate my hall wall lights. It was an easy installation but the hardest part was feeding the cable through. Once it's in place the installation of the unit took only a matter of minutes to install and set up. These sensors have no end of uses from general lighting control to full home security and would highly recommend them. For the price you absolutely cannot go wrong. Thankyou so much.

Wire connections are difficult-No earth connection-motion sensor has good sensitivity
In the UK, we have line, neutral and earth. This motion sensor does not have earth connection, as shown in my attached photographs, as it will protect it from earth leakage current.I managed to connect it by using my own wires and by keeping earth constant to both input and output terminals. I noticed that motion sensor performance is very good and it does switches without a noise. This is a new innovation and truly appreciate it but for the UK it would be nice to have earth connection.

Works like a charm
This worked better than expected. I have it set up in a laundry room. Ease of use for me now on. No more hands full and trying to flip the switch.Install was a bit tricky as I was trying to mount this on a ceiling box. The holes in the box do not line up with the holes on the sensor. So, be aware of that.Set it to lowest sensitivity due to cats using the litter box. I didn't want them setting it off. Works as soon as I walk by the door and shuts off quickly after I leave.

Works great - looking around the house for where I can use more.
Works as described even in my 9foot ceiling . BUT minor installation issue. Looking on edge the terminals are labeled "N - L1 - L" BUT looking up the terminals are labeled "N - L - L1" I don't know if anything bad would happen if line and load were powered up the wrong way.

Could improve on design but works fine
Overall the Motion Sensor does a good job. Wiring is pretty straightforward but getting the wires in the hole is a challenge due to the fact the holes are restricted by the housing. Since the unit is mounted in a ceiling it would make more sense to have the wires inserted in the top. That said...I finally got the wires bent enough to get them in and it worked fine. The only other issue I had was trying to get the Lux settings to work for my garage (door open most of the time). Finally I gave up and turned the Lux setting to off and with the timer set to 5 minutes. I'm happy with that and for the price, would recommend the unit.

Loved it so much we got two
As the review heading states, we were so impressed with these that we have now ordered two. We will probably order more as we are finishing our unfinshed basement. We got the first one to automate the lights at the base of our basement stairs. The existing light switch is in a dumb location and you are always fumbling in the dark and trying to find the switch. This occupancy sensor took care of that right away. However, it is the features and functionality on this that have prompted us to order a second (for the basement workshop) and possibly even a third (for the storage room). First, this installed very easily and is sized to fit on a standard sized round junction box. Most or all of the features are accessible from the surface of the unit - which means you do not have to take it down to change the settings. The sensor is highly sensitive, had a huge range of sight, and catches our movement even if we are not directly in view of this. There are abundant time-delay settings so this is highly customizable. It also appears this has a daylight sensor on it which will keep the lights from coming on if it senses daylight from nearby windows. (We haven't tested this as most of our basement has no windows.) You can override this on the unit, but this is a great energy saving feature. If you have daylighting, you *shoudn't* need artificial lighting. I am super impressed that this occupancy sensor has this feature. If you opt to order this, make sure you are ordering the correctly sized unit for the amount of lights you have. The 5A unit will carry up to 500 watts give or take. The 10 A will carry the 1100 W listed on Amazon. Finally, the price is fanastic, making this occupancy sensor an exceptional value.
