What's the difference between these and the targhee II?

The Targhee II and the Targhee III are both Targhee styles that are built using the same last so they will be similar in terms of their fit, although the Targhee III will fit a bit narrower in the toes than the Targhee II due to the design of it's uppers.

Are these made in a country who works against USA?

Accepted Answer

These were PREVIOUSLY made in Portland Oregon. Now they are made in Asia (Thailand or other Asian countries).
The ones made in Portland had a non-waterproof black die that ran out of the Targhee 2 shoes absolutely every time they got wet, leaving my feet and socks died black. I tried everything to stop this including finally resorting to hand washing and then drying them. The weight of the shoe must have been mostly from die since they still would run black inside whenever it was wet outside. Worthless in the Cascades although I still have them for summer work shoes around the house and yard and they still die my feet black when they get moist.

Do these hold up better the tennis shoes for daily wear I haven't been able to get even a year out of my tennis shoes and I'm on concrete all day

I’ve had my keens for 5 months and where them every day whether it be for working or walking around the neighborhood. Mine are wearing great with no signs of unusual wear. They are honestly mor comfortable than my sneakers, brooks, Nike and Wilson tennis shoes. I love them. Most comfortable shoes I own.

How do these fit compared to the Braddock?

I never wore the Braddock, I do love these. They were true to my size 14. The best fit I've had on a pair of boots in years. I would buy these again in a minute.
