Fixes well water order
The rod was about 3 in too long for my 40 gallon hot water tank. This was easily corrected by removing 3 inches off the road with a hacksaw. The rod corrected all odors at my well water had

Unit seems to be solidly constructed. Only time will tell how long it lasts.This anode is one solid piece which means you will need at least 44" of free space above your water heater or you may to tip the WH to install. This conflicts with the Product Description which claims it will be easy to install even in cramped spaces.
