KingPavonini Extra Large Ice Pack for Back Pain Relief, 2 Gel Packs, Blue

Originally gave this a 3 star rating upon first use. But after 2 weeks of use several times a day, I easily changed this to a 5 star rating. Any concerns I had at first turned out to be unfounded. This thing has and continues to save me a lot of pain after my L2 - L5 spinal fusion surgery. Some people have complained about that the ice packs are prone to leak and dont hold the cold in very long. I found the packs to be very rugged. I am putting these things through hard use and not even a hint of a leak. Very well made. They hold the cold a good amount of time for being thin. You're not supposed to ice to long anyways. But because they give you two packs and they are a bit thinner, I have not had a time where I was left waiting for one to get cold. There have been times where pain has dictated I use a different kind of gel pack that is thicker, but thankfully the normal packs also fit in the belt. Which I am very grateful for. Some people complained about the belt. That it stretches to much and the "Velcro" doesnt hold together. I found the stretch of the belt to be perfect. Having 5 incisions around my side and back, the force of the belt is more then good enough to hold it in place but not so much that it puts pressure on the incisions. The "Velcro" isnt velcro but similar. I am using this belt probably 12 to 16 hours a day and not once has the "Velcro" failed. I go from sitting to laying down throughout the day and its always held without the slightest sign or sound of undoing. If you have been using ice packs with hand towels, I can not express enough how much you need this belt. Its a total game changer.

I purchased this wrap for lower back pain, and overall I'm very happy with it. It covers a large area, stays cold for a long time, and the belt strap keep it comfortably in place. I've been using it regularly, and it's become one of my go-to ice packs. The one issue I almost couldn't get past was the very strong rubber odor when I first opened it. The smell was overwhelming and made it unpleasant to wear. I ended up soaking the belt in cold water, mild detergent and vinegar for several days, rinsing and filling the basin with new water, detergent and vinegar again until the smell had disappeared. I initially tried the washing machine twice with no luck. Prolonged soaking worked. Once the odor was gone, the belt performed exactly as I had hoped. If the manufacturer could address the initial smell, this would easily be a perfect product. Despite that, I still think it's an excellent value and would recommend it for anyone looking for a large, comfortable ice wrap for back pain.

I bought this for my dog and it's perfect. She has problems in her column and hip and needs both hot and cold packs that cover the whole area. I couldn't find a comparable product for pets, so I went with the human one, it fits as though made for dogs! Since this comes with two packs I use one in the freezer and I heat the other one in hot water. Both packs seem very robust and so far I have no leakage. When frozen the icepack gets quite hard and a bit inflexible at first. The ice packs maintain their temperature for quite some time, way longer than I'd need it. They stay cold longer than they stay warm. I really notice a difference in my dogs behaviour when she receives the warm pack in the morning, so I guess the pain relief is working. The velcro still works perfectly after a few weeks of usage and the whole bandage stays put even while walking around, laying down or jumping up. Money well spent!

This is the best devise I’ve ever used so far for my sore lower back. It is big enough to hold a large freeze pack and the easiest wrap around straps I have seen. And it doesn’t slip off. Why aren’t they all this simple? Takes up hardly any space in the freezer as well.

Fits well. I bought an extra large so my friend can use it. I wish it stated cold longer than about half hour, but it helped my back after hiking for 4.5 miles. Would highly recommend.

We live out in the country and do a lot of mowing and time on the tractor. This product is perfect. Extremely comfortable and holds the ice pack in place perfectly. When done and want some more, there is a convenient second pack included and awaiting use. While using the second pack and a short time in between, the first pack is ready to bring relief. I have loved using this and talk it up with all my neighbors and they have purchased their own. In one case I just went ahead and bought two neighbors their own to get them started. Everyone is thrilled.

This thing is great! It hold the ice on the right spot and lets you still walk around if needed. The cloth that the ice pack sits in thin enough to let the cold through, but thick enough that its gradual. It comes with 2 packs which is great for swapping them out while another one is in the freezer.

Great size ice pack holder cover my lower back. Pack froze quickly and easily slipped into belt. Game changer for me!

This in my opinion is the best heat and cool back belt out there, and it has an extender which is great as it stays hotter and cooler for much longer. Going to buy another as this belt wont last long on Amazon well priced also.

This ice belt is so comfortable and easy to use. It helps with my tailbone and up my spine without having to have multiple ice packs and I don’t have to lay down. Adjustable belt will work for average to extra large people. Once fitted to my waste it stays in place and doesn’t roll or move.

Worked fine until 7 months after purchase. Then a small leak developed in the insert rendering this product USELESS. 😡
