I'd like to start firstly by saying that the small seam ripper pictured came broken, but that didn't bother me as I'd mostly bought it for the pins. The other, larger seam ripper worked as well as you would expect.The little tomato pincushion with strawberry sharpener is always a cute little bonus.The pins themselves are fine. I found one blunt one, and the little containers is fairly flimsy - must be stored flat and not moved too much as I'm afraid it'll pop open under even the smallest amount of pressure or movement.In summary, the set is good for beginners, but a little flimsy. It'll take you pretty far though - it's not something I'd spend much more money on when starting out, so worth a purchase.

Needles are quite thin so it gets bend if you use it on thick fabrics like jeans but otherwise, fine. Good equipment for beginners, the blade of the seam ripper is a bit dull but expect from the price of this product. pin cushion is quite small but a good size for me.

Bought for the pins but the extra bits are really useful. The tape measure is a bit flimsy but the pins and the rest of the set good quality.

Bought to teach my grandchildren to sew
