I bought this for companionship, following the death of my beloved French bulldog Gaston.Unfortunately it has not had the desired effect; merely reminding me of the hollowness and futility of my existence.Please remember that a novelty light is no substitute for the warmth and compassion of a real dog.

I bought it as a "gimmick" present for my wife and she was very happy with it. It's very effective in a dark room and the remote control allows you to change the colour, and the colour transition if you want. I note that the Q&As says that batteries are not required, which is true as it will run from a USB mains adapter, but the one I got does take batteries as well (3 x AAA) if you don't want a trailing cable. The 3D bit is only an illusion, albeit an effective one, and I think you will only be disappointed if you were expecting a 3D laser-generated hologram which I don't think you'll get at this price. Update Oct 2020 - after very little use, all the colours apart from red have stopped working. And of course there is no warranty. Changed rating from 5* to 1*

My children have one of these each and I pugged the USB wire in to an empty port on the back of their Sky Q box to save batteries.Loads of colour selections and brightness settings go quite low so can be used as a night light.

Bought this for a present, but my partner liked it so much that I had to order another.In fact, a couple of other friends have shown interest.

I bought this for my daughter who has two french bulldogs. She absolutely loved it. I tried it out at home first and was extremely impressed. None of her french bulldog friends had one so she has been enjoying showing it off! It really is lovely.
