Doggy Door Works Great!
This door works great! You can run it all the way up to the top of the door and tighten the screws and it stays put. It's also got a screened version that's pretty awesome for once things cool down. The fit against the frame isn't perfect, but that might have something to do with the door frame itself and not the doggy door itself. It'd be cool if there were a way to lock the door (and there might be I'm just not paying close enough attention), but our doggo loves it and uses it when it's in place. That's the other nice thing, it's super easy to put up and take down which makes it convenient for when you don't want to have it in the way. We've got a black lab and he fits through there no problem. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who's looking for a good doggy door for a sliding glass door. TOTALLY worth the price!

Worked as expected.
Worked like a charm! I live in a state with winter so I would have liked the addition of a seal around the dog door, so it was formed to the dog door itself. I was able to make one but it added time and cost.

Not really suitable for climates such as Florida. Not sturdy and the lack of glass is an issue
You get what you pay for. No glass - just mesh and plastic inserts.

More flimsy than expected
Update: Absolutely no insulation value to this door. Horrible draft coming through the plexiglass "windows." The screen is already destroyed by my dogs. They have knocked the plexiglass out twice now. This door is much thinner and more flimsy than I expected. The "windows" are just very thin plastic, not even window grade plexi-glass. I don't expect it to last more than a season with my large dogs going through it a dozen times a day.I need it, so I'm keeping it, but I will be researching more durable options. It is very cold to the touch and did not come with insulation for the edges. Even with the insulation strip I added, I still feel a draft where it meets the slider door.It does fit my slider and it was easy to install.

Not intimidating
The pups use it and don’t seem to mind it at all. Only complaint is that it will randomly shorten a bit, allowing for a gap at the top.

Great way to not have to constantly open the door for your pets.
I give this door a 5 star because I love it and it's convenient for the dogs to go in and out of the house. However, when you have to replace the flap, there's a plastic piece that you can't find, and after years of use, the plastic piece broke, so the flap has to now be taped up there and sometimes slides out. I do have some screws in there, but it doesn't hold the flap right. Suggestions would be to have that plastic piece available for purchase.

Not worth $150 will be returning when I can
Very low quality, not weather tight the windows slid into place from top of frame with no kind of weather stripping to make a tight seal which is important where I live being in the pacific northwest where it rains 9 months out of the year, the frame itself is adjustable not having risers for top or bottom of frame to adjust height of door for your dog so he/she doesn't have to duck and arch their back to go in and out. Does not.not come with any stripping to create seal between sliding door/frame and dog door. Very poorly written instructions with hardly any detail to placent of "brackets" and "lock". The flap for the door has very weak magnetic strip to keep door in place so if the wind picks up you WILL get a night little gust of fresh air.Only perk I can say about this is its something if you're in a pinch and need something quick to put in place if you are maybe gone for the night/weekend. Not something I would want in my home permanently. I will be returning this product at my earliest convenience.Knowing what it is after seeing the product I would have paid $50, MAYBE $75 for this product in the store. Save your money and buy a better quality product.

The dog loves her freedom
I didn't install this as a permanent door because we rent. However, I was able to secure it temporarily (for months) and it stayed put. It came along with our move and is temporarily secured in the sliding door so the dog has free range once again.
