Good FOV
Great for the price. There are other options that seem to pick up light better but this pair has little to no lag and good FOV

Great quality and refresh rate
Functionality they work very well. They are a little heavy but if you put a counterweight or battery pack on the back of the helmet it is fine. The brightness and screen refresh rate are both 10x better than most others I have tried. 8/10.

I was a bit disappointed in these as they didn't amplify very much light without the IR light turned on. With the IR light turned on they work a little better than some other cheapies but you still have the same problem of anything close to you getting washed out by the IR light. I really wish someone would make a truly affordable digital NVG system that didn't need an IR light. But at least on the plus side, these did fit my helmet's NVG mount just fine. I just wish the mount was sturdier as I feel like it will likely break soon with any rough use like running through the woods with it. SO if you do stuff like that, tie some 550 cord to it as retention so you don't lose it.

Best cheap NVG
Battery life is long and fast charging, adjusting focus and contrast is easy using the buttons on the front. The extention part that came in the box were perfect for putting it over a ball cap. The relative low price make it a perfect gift for nocturnal novice.

Great Budget NVGs
Not something I would use in a self defense situation but it’s great for the kids and wife to use while I larp with my RNVGs. Going to buy more with an airsoft bridge to make a budget dual tube for my kids.

For the price, it's a ton of fun!
I highly recommend the NVG50s to people looking for performance, at a decent cost. But for only couple hundred bucks, this is a great buy for the kids.
