OLFA Craft Knife, L-Shaped, 34B

For anyone who knows olfa, they know the quality of the brand. For anyone new to olfa, know that they make superb cutting tools. This neat little knife comes with this extremely sharp, replaceable blade with a very sturdy handle and reliable screw lock will slice and dice through cardboard and paper with minimum downward pressure. The knife is extremely light and disappears into your pocket and feels great in your hand. I personally flipped the side the screw was on as it felt better in my right hand and naturally holding it in my right hand and unscrewing the blade with my life made sense. You can even drill a small hole in the bottom of the handle to be able to pass some paracord through it to make a lanyard. (I’m not saying to go and deface your knife, but theoretically, yes you can do it if you like lanyards!) the blade has this really unique and interesting angle to the cutting edge and will help it stay sharp, and when your blade finally starts to dull (which took ages for me) you can go out and just buy brand new “l shaped” blades for under $10 and continue cutting with a blade so sharp you can shave with it.

Best hobby craft and box knife ever. Olga is a leader in all types of blades. I also bought a metal framed one too. This fits the hand better. The blade design is very well executed and extremely sharp and adjustable too. I will buy more for presents to Maker friends.

Simple little knife that does what I need. I bought it for marking dovetails and scribing/ knife wall work on hand tool projects. I like the blade, can be sharpened or replaced easily, just strong enough to make lines without being bulky. I like being able to decide how much blade is being used. The controls are a little cumbersome but there’s not much that can fail on it so I can appreciate its simplicity. I’ve got several styles of marking knives but I reach for this one the most since it can make thin cuts and also sharpen a pencil if needed. It’s last job was digging out a splinter and it did that well also. It should last until lose it, I don’t see how I could break it. Would buy again.

I can’t believe I went 65 years without knowing about OLFA. This is the best little carving knife. Easy to use, comfortable and the blades are easy to change.

The blade is good, and I really like the housing. That said, I found the screw to be a bit difficult to adjust with my fat fingers. The knife is a good value, but it was not perfect for me.

This utility/crafting knife is so AMBIDEXTROUS Left Handed and Right Handed People Friendly and it's so easy to use. You don't have to change the position of the dial lock wheel knob it is instantly Fixed for Left Handed People right out of the packaging but IF you are a Right handed then you have to switch the knob to the other side. It is so sharp right out of the packaging. The blade is stainless steel it is thick and it can be Re-Sharpen for multiple repeated usage. The metal body is stainless steel as well heavy duty but it's so slim. Installing a Paracord and tie a knot onto the hole or perhaps a keychain is advisable since this knife is so small and slim you can easily lose this thing. I bet this knife is also Dishwasher safe since it is a stainless steel.

OLFA makes the best cutters in the world and these are no exception. I carry this one with me everyday and amazed at how sharp the blade is and how nice it feels in my hand. I have many OLFA products and plan to order some more.

Fabulous knife and an excellent alternative to the "snap off" craft or utility knives. I use mine to sharpen art pencils (pastel pencils, graphite, etc.) and it works beautifully – really sharp blade and easy to control.
