This lil guy henceforth known as Neil surpassed my expectations and experience. I normally won't sleep with any form of light but with this galaxy projector and it's many different settings available I keep asking myself how did I manage to sleep without my astronaut galaxy projector. The settings range from solid lighting, with stars or without stars, and modes that can easily be changed with the included remote. It is beyond user friendly and provides such a relaxing environment at the end of a busy day. I fell immediately in love with it that I nearly immediately purchased a second one for my bathroom (showering) under the stars give new meaning to the start of my work day. And if you don't believe me, ask my son , who after spending a weekend with Neil and Armstrong (my bathroom astronaut) he went and ordered himself one as well for his place. Great value for your money. Functional and perfectly sized for any room. And the look is clean and makes for an incredible discussion piece. A must have for any room, any occasion or just for a good night rest

I absolutely love this little light, the projected nebula and stars are gorgeous. The light itself is fairly small (could cover a small room but may be too little for a large space), but it is very bright and mesmerizing to watch. The astronaut is cute and comes with a little moon rock base to stand on and a USB cord you can attach to a power brick (not included). The nebulas swirl (you can either select a color or let them alternate) and the stars fade in and out (but don't change from a green color). It's a great way to calm down before bed, although it's bright enough to be seen during the day as well.Some cautions, as other reviews pointed out, the power cord is fairly short and the laser is very bright so placement might take a couple of tries. The head can detach/rotate to help with positioning but definitely be careful it isn't somewhere where it will accidentally shine in someone's eyes. Another note is that there is a slight motor sound and the light is very bright in a dark room so this may not be ideal for those looking for a nightlight for sensitive sleepers.That said, I have not had any issues with the product and love the look/ambiance! A steal for the price and a super fun light.

This Astronaut Galaxy Projector is the coolest addition to my son’s room! He is autistic and finds so much joy in turning it on and relaxing under the nebula and stars. It creates such a calming and beautiful atmosphere. What a wonderful birthday gift! I highly recommend it...I kind of want one for the living room too!

I got this for my 10 year old daughter who is too old for a typical night light but doesn't want to sleep in the pitch black and was having trouble falling asleep. She LOVES it. It has multiple settings and is bright enough to be beautiful and interesting but not so bright that it keeps her awake and is distracting. It has very calming and soothing options and she loves that she can choose which one to use each night. It took a few different tries at placement in the room to find a place where it projected well but wasn't shining in my eyes when I put her to bed but once we got that nailed down on her bookshelf it was perfect. It is the perfect size - smaller than I expected but fit much better in the room. Great price compared to others as well.

Very fun little unit. You won't see authentic galaxies or star clusters and the stars are green...but...the effects are beautiful, serene and relaxing. Something that we can all agree is necessary in this world right now. No problems with the remote, in fact no problems at all. It is a bit power hungry, so consider that with your selected power source.Five stars for value.
