Amazing
The Oumers bike master link plier is a simple but very well-made tool that works perfectly for removing and reinstalling chain quick links. The construction feels solid with a strong spring mechanism and durable steel jaws that grip firmly without slipping. The handles are comfortable and have good grip, making it easy to use even when your hands are greasy. It has just the right leverage to open and close links smoothly without damaging the chain. The built-in latch keeps it closed for storage, which is a nice touch. For the price, it’s one of the best and most useful tools you can keep in a bike repair kit. Five stars for quality, ease of use, and value.

Works on Shimano Quick Links, BUT
I specifically bought this chain tool to close Shimano quick links. Most other brands of quick links such as KMC can be closed with a good tug on the chain without a tool, but Shimano chains requires quite a bit more force... BUT, as others have noted, the mechanical hard stop needs to be filed down flush, otherwise it prevents the jaws from opening up wide enough. Took me about 10 minutes with a mill file. Then it worked great: insert the jaws around the outside (not inside!) of the quick link, then a quick pull apart on the handles ( like breaking a wishbone ) sets the link perfectly closed... I would have given 5 stars, as this tool saved me $$ from purchasing the "Official Shimano" chain tool for $51, but the manufacturer needs to remove the nub and instead use a set screw for the stop, so it can be easily removed when necessary..A REAL SIMPLE FIX : OUMERS.....

Great tool the the cost' good quality throughout. Why all the gripes? They're doing it wrong.
These pliers perform well. Some reviewers complain that these only open the link, but cannot close it, because they're trying to fit both jaws into the center of the Quick Link. That is incorrect. The proper way to use chain pliers is to put *one* of the jaws into the Quick Link, and put the other jaw into the next adjacent pair of link plates. The plier will spring open, holding itself in place. Lightly pull the handles apart, and the link pops and locks in place. Even easier: pliers are not even necessary to do this. Simply have the Quick Link on the top section of chain--between the cassette and the chain ring--and press down on a forward-facing pedal crank to apply tension to the chain. The link pops and locks in place. Dead simple.

praktische Kettenschlosszange
Absolute Kaufempfehlung.

Cheap and work great
Not a professional tool - steel feels like it could wear out if the pliers saw daily use. But honestly they work really well and unless you are literally using them all day every day, they should last a long time and serve you well. No complains at all about ease of use, and they feel comfortable enough, too. Overall pretty good for the price, just maybe shoot for a better pair if you're planning on very frequently using them.
