Insta360 X4 Lens Cap

Quick, simple thick silicone lens guard which covers both lenses simultaneously. Simple to slide on & off and leaves a small gap between lenses & cap which should offer good impact protection. Using with an Insta360 X5 which has the same form factor as the X4.

I didn’t read the description carefully and only later noticed it said for X4 and X5. Surprisingly, it fits my X3 perfectly, and I’m really happy about that. Great protection and no complaints!

Fits well offers good degree of protection, has a couple of holes so you can fit a captive lanyard if required, fits over std lens covers, only downside is it doesnt fit in the soft pouch anymore once fitted.

Very functional for my camera and easy to use. It protects the lens cap, however, be careful when removing it as I lost a lens cap before.

As others have mentioned, this really should come with the camera out of the box. I have been using the 'standard lens protectors' that come with it, but a bit of a faff getting them on and off when you wish to use the camera - as tests I did with the lenses on, just encouraged lens flair so won't be using then when shooting. The item is the perfect lens protection product, but now need another case that fits with it on. The silicon protector is very snug and I am sure will do is job well. But, my 360 X4 came with a soft material pouch and will no longer fully close to protect whole of the camera with the new lens protector installed. This will be put into my regular camera bag anyway, but if you don't have another case to protect the camera you may feel the rest of the camera is now exposed to potential damage. I am more concerned about the lenses than the body or touch screen to be fair, as any damage to the lenses is catastrophic, but the body is cosmetic so I can live with that. It's low cost means you will get one, but just anther hassle if you didn't purchase at the same time as the camera. Overall, 4* as functionality & cost are spot on, just minor inconvenience for fitting with other protection devices.

Good as described

Fits perfectly. Thick material - helps deaden the impact immensely. Small irk though... since it's thick (and provides good impact protection), it also makes it difficult to put the X4 back into the provided case. I use the protector when I've got the X4 on the stick, and take it off when I put the X4 back in it's case.

Does what it says - a handy, quick to remove protective cover. Worth it.

Works as expected. The rubber hood simply shrouds your dual lenses, even when you have lens protectors installed as well. This keeps your lenses dirt and scratch free since laying down your X4 is tricky at times. I highly recommend it!
