500FT Digital Meat Thermometer Wireless Thermometer with Multy Probes Bluetooth Thermometer Kitchen Thermometer for Smoker Grilling Oven (IP01-Black)

Edit - after making bread (shooting for a finish temperature of around 2005°F) it took either 1 second or just a bit over one second to hit final temp from ambient (68 this time). Still very pleased with how fast this thing settles in to final temp and planning to buy 3 more for my adult children.(prior review follows)I've only just now tested this "iprobe" instant read thermometer, so if it goes wonky on me later I'll update. Most of the instant read thermometers that claim to reach the final temperature as quickly as 1 second (or less) are at least 2X the current $20 price of this iprobe. So I was skeptical about this one working that quickly.I tested it in my morning tea as against a much slower Habor "instant read" (it takes 4-5 seconds to stop climbing, but it is several years old) and also a new leave-in probe. All read 65°F in the morning air and all read 140-140.5°F in the hot tea. The difference was that the Habor and leave-in probes both took 4-5 seconds to level out, while this iprobe hit final temp in about 1/2 a second.So far, I'm both impressed and very happy with this one. I also like the large bright display (grilling in the evenings trying to read the other instant-read's black LCD display is difficult) and the fact that this display rotates to match the orientation you're holding the body of the probe at is nice, too, although not really necessary.

What a nice thermometer! It is blazing fast, hefty and accurate. I couldn’t be happier with my choice.

The media could not be loaded. I got this mainly for ham and roasts. I haven’t fixed either of those lately. I did check it with my thermostat, and it was highly accurate. It turns on easily, simply by opening it.

Very easy to use. Just turn the needle and it automatically turns on (and off when you close it).Temperature reading seems to work accurate.

Easy to use and immediately provides an accurate temperature. I've had great results using this while grilling, to get our meat at just the right temperatures. Easily turns on and off when opened and closes. Easy to clean and store.
