My kid loves this stuff, been buying it for years again and again and it is consistently used and enjoyed. It can make a “mess” just because it will spread around if your kid constantly has it in their hand and likes mixing it with other things, like my kid does, BUT it’s easily cleanable and doesn’t ruin anything. You’d jut have very fine, very soft sandy-ish grains around, unlike slime which seems to ruin everything. But I’d invest in 10lb bags if I could with the amount my kid uses and enjoys it

I grabbed this Dream Sand for my kids thinking it would be something super special, but honestly… it’s just like any other sensory or kinetic sand we’ve had before. The colors are really pretty, which is nice, but that’s about it.It works fine for play, but it’s nothing mind-blowing. I’ve seen people rave about it, so maybe my expectations were too high. It’s good, just not amazing, and definitely a bit messier than I expected.Not a bad product, but I don’t think I’d go out of my way to buy it again.
