Very nice toy. Perfect for a 3 year old or older boy

I waited four months to write a review because I wasn't sure this would last. While the kid's interest in it has waned a little, this toy has been loved! Sometimes it starts to respond oddly to the remote, but every time it's solved by charging the battery.

Item was purchased for a 10 year old boy. Digger was delivered and one of the "hydraulic" arms only had range of motion in one direction (it would close but not open) so item was returned without issue and replaced. The new digger came and seems to work fine. There is a clicking noise that occurs when you attempt to move too far in one direction which can take some time to learn the travel limits. Overall it is a fun toy and the various attachments provide several options for play. The bucket is metal as is the drill but the bit its self is plastic. The first one was broken but they sent me a new one before I had even sent them it back. KEEP YOUR BOX UNTIL YOU MAKE SURE IT WORKS. I had to pay for a box to send it back. It's not their fault just something to keep in mind. The controls are a little hard to find the range but once you get the feel for it it's fine.

My son really wanted a garbage truck toy, and this one definitely caught his attention. It looks great, and the functions are fun — it moves forward and backward with the remote control, and it makes sounds, which he enjoyed. In the beginning, he was excited to play with it, and it held his interest for a while. However, the reason I’m giving it only three stars is the battery issue. After just a couple of months, the battery stopped working completely. It wasn’t something we could fix, and once that happened, the remote-control feature no longer worked at all. At this point, the truck can only be pushed manually, which defeats the purpose of buying an RC toy. If I had to choose again, I personally wouldn’t purchase this toy because the remote control function didn’t last. That said, I can see how it might work well for others if they don’t run into the same battery problem. Overall: a fun toy with good features, but durability is a concern.

My grandson loves it. In the beginning he was studying how it works. When he got some instuccions, now he operstes it as a real excavator. I love to see him happy.

Gave this to my nephew for Christmas yesterday. Charged for 8hrs as advised. Have tried many different things, and though the remote is pairing, nothing happens to the truck when you push the buttons. Have emailed the manufacturer, but will likely have to return. Have a very disappointed nephew!
