Does a great job in my old brita water pitcher, had to contact them because I thought they were not working properly and customer service got right back to me on the problem, just had to secure them more…perfect and a lot cheaper then the alternative. Will buy again!

Pretty cheap for a 4 pack taste good so far

They filter whereas some others just hold the water in the filter area.

Edit: I think I'm two more sets of these in to my purchases, making it four (maybe five) sets of these we've gotten. They are still working as well as the name brand filters. The reason for the update is that our pitcher broke. I purchased these filters enough that the pitcher itself didn't last as long as we used these filters. We bought a new pitcher, and also another set of these filters. If you need this style of filter, I have no qualms suggesting these for your needs. Original review: This is my second purchase of these filters. We used the entire previous set of 6 with no problems whatsoever in our Namebrand pitcher. There was no change in flavor, and the set up/use of these filters is identical to the set up and use of the namebrand filters. The price difference makes this a no-brainer.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: These replacement filters fit my water pitcher perfectly. Ability to receive a 6-pack of filters makes this item cost-effective.

The Brita container has two compartments, the top one where you pour water that will gravity flow into the actual filter and from there flow into the bottom compartment where the water is stored. These filters have a tendency to at some point stop flowing correctly. What happens is you get to a point, about a week or two into using them, where when you pour water into the top compartment it doesn't flow in it's entirety into the bottom one, leaving water that was intended to flow through the filter in the top compartment. When you pour water out of the Brita container and this has happened, you get water in the top compartment, which hasn't been filtered, flowing into whatever your trying to pour filtered water into, or otherwise spilling out onto the counter or wherever it is you're using the Brita container. Our water is neither hard nor in an area where there's a problem with the water in general (we're in a DC suburb), so it's not that the filters are becoming overloaded with "gunk" and a filter clogged with filterable materials is restricting flow; I'm guessing it's due to the filter material in these filters packing together as you use them such that it stymies flow of the water in the top container, a problem I don't recall seeing with the OEM Brita filters. Between this problem and the fact that the manufacturer calls for these filters to be changed every 4 weeks vice 8 as with the actual Brita filters, I don't think the price reduction is worth it unless you don't use the Brita container itself very often (we use it a lot) and therefore aren't likely to encounter this particular problem, which I notice other buyers have had.

I am a ' return customer ' of this product. I find that it is they fit my Brittas very well and at much less cost of the Britta name filters and work just as well ! Will certainly continue to purchase !
