Adamant: Finding Truth in a Universe of Opinions

I read this book with a group of ladies at church, and I really enjoyed it. It's very thought-provoking and real. We had some great discussions around it. You can also access the Messenger X app and watch the videos Lisa Bevere did on the book for free. We used the videos during our group discussion times, and it added a lot of great material, even if people hadn't had a chance to read the chapters prior to the meetings.

At first I really got bored but as I stayed faithful to completing Adamant I was convicted of what was being presented. We can be tossed by everyone’s description of what and who we should be but this author brings an energy and conviction that is a breath of fresh air and is based on God’s word to us all!

The older I get, the more I realize any book outside of the Bible itself can mislead Christians, even if ever-so-slightly.Bevere includes a story in the book of a mysterious package she received, and it included a message she had been pondering to herself in private. Are we to assume this package is a miracle from heaven? Someone on Earth was used to deliver this package...someone. It's up to us as Christians to discern when something is a miracle, and when something is a wolf in sheep's clothing intended to start leading us astray from God.I would warn the author to be wary that someone using witchcraft has been watching her. Christians need to be wary using the terminology of the world. So many people who start out following Christ are elevated to the status of stars and diamonds for God, but end up in the same worldly ascension club where Buddhists are called stars alongside Christians. Being adamant means not marrying into a group that mixes light and darkness. Being adamant means always asking the Holy Spirit to test the spirits for you.I'll stick to the Bible instead of this type of Christian narrative. If your daughters cannot handle reading the Bible, they need to go to a more rigorous Christian school, or on an educational trip to walk the Bible firsthand.

Great read very inspirational book

This book, if you let it, will change the foundation of your life. Lisa Bevere, your books have been a voice of change in my life that God intimately used to speak to the places I thought were forgotten. I also read them multiple times so I never forget. I feel as well there is something profound about the order in which I read your books. “Without Rival” was the transforming of my mind and the way I viewed myself and others. “Girls with Swords” told me how to stand with those values I had just learned, wear the armour of God, and guard what was to never meant to be stolen. And now as I read “Adamant” all of those books align and teach me to carry all that I’ve learn and to stand FIRM on my Adamant, unshakable foundation in God. I’m 24, and can without a doubt say I would’ve been lost without your books to guide me through the opinions, lies, and comparison of my generation. I relate so much to you, and want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for teaching me to be a daughter that is without rival, and an unshakedable, Adamant warrior for my king❤️ -Bethany Kramer

Great for our book club

With each new chapter, another truth is revealed. Written in an intimate feel as if the author is speaking to me. I read one chapter a day because each new chapter speaks to my heart and I need time to truly absorb each new conversation. I cried all through Chapter 2 because it was so close to my heart to find God’s love and comfort for my heart as it relates to my current situation. I bought a copy for my daughter and my sister.

I love lisa bevere’s books and I gave this one to my mother after I finished it. She liked it too!

This book had such a profound effect on me that the moment I finished it, I started again. The second time I took copious notes. Easy to read, well-thought-out theology, and challenging. Very highly recommended for any serious Christian.

bought this for my summer book club. love it so far. Lisa Bevere is an amazing author and her words really drive home and build my faith.

Not actually read yet, bought for holiday.Looks a great thought provoking book...looking forward to reading it.
