5 weeks and operating perfectly! About 4 months ago, I was diagnosed with eye condition that now requires me to heat my eyelids and the area under my eyes twice a day to soften eyelid oils to prevent styes. Before purchasing this mask, I was heating my eye area with a warm compress heated in a microwave, but that method was very inefficient. I purchased the Aroma Season Moist Heated Eye Mask about 6 weeks ago and am very happy with the product. I use it twice or even three times a day with ease. It is compact, soft, comfortable and heats the eye area uniformly. The unique design of this mask heats flax seeds and this allows you to push the heated seeds inside the cloth right against your soft skin area conforming nicely to the exact area you want to heat. I prefer the high setting and find it nice and warm to the eye area and not too hot for me. Others may prefer the lower medium setting. The mask has an automatic timer that shuts off after 20 minutes so there are no concerns if you should happen to fall asleep with the mask on. It comes with an AC electrical adapter for the USB power cable so that you can plug the mask in directly to a standard power outlet or you can remove the AC electrical adapter and plug the mask into a standard USB outlet. For full disclosure, I did have an issue with the first unit I bought (seemed to stop heating properly), but the customer service representative April was wonderful and sent me another unit free of charge. This second unit has been working flawlessly for 5 weeks now. (I am beginning to believe that I just had the first unit on backward thus not allowing the hot side of the mask to come in direct contact with my skin. So when using the unit, make certain that the heated side of the eye mask pouch is compressed against your skin). I have come to rely on this unit to assist me with my eye health and would highly recommend this mask to others. I also give them an A++ for customer service.

Doctor recommended this for dry eye. It's working very well. I bought another one (more expensive) thinking it would be good quality but it broke after two uses. It was rechargeable, which I thought would be convenient, but it was hard to get the cord into the mask. I like this one better. It plugs right into the wall and acts just like a heating pad and it shuts off automatically after 10 minutes. I've seen improvement in my dry eye from using it just once a day.

Long electrical cord, has a timer, soft material. Wish it contoured better to really rest on the eyelids to give more relief. It is warm enough, but dry heat unlike the kind you microwave. I think moist heat gives better relief. Nice that it has a timer so you don't fall asleep and burn your eyes. I have jaw pain, so sometimes I use this on other areas other than the eyes. It's small enough to carry with me when I need relief when I'm at work.

Vince was really enjoying his heated eye mask until it quit working after 10 days.The wiring is faulty like other reviewers have said,It really is a shame things are not made well anymore these days ———:(This is an update on Vins prior review.The company (Aroma Therapy) reached out after Vince left his first review and wanted to make good and stand behind their product.They sent out a new mask and have to say so far so good. I have 2 eye issues. I had been suffering with eye erosion at night for a couple years after an injury in my right eye. I saw a doctor periodically for it and the last time was a few months ago when I pointed out my new issue which was chalazions in my left eye. The doctor said to do warm compresses which I had already tried on and off for a couple weeks before talking to him. I found it too much of a hassle and I am too busy to keep running to the microwave and hold a warm pack to my face that many times for that long during the day. I gave up and thought it would be gone in a few more months. I was wrong, they were still there and as big as ever, the whole bottom lid area was swollen. That is when I came across this mask and it solved my previous issues.First, it plugs in and stays the right temperature the whole time. No more running to the microwave. It heats up quickly. (I prefer the high setting). It is shaped and stuffed so it actually presses on your eye lid and not the area around your eyes. It is comfortable and has a timer so you can turn it on and drift off to sleep. I have a baby that often gets me up a few times a night so I get to have multiple treatments a night (although I only wet the first one). You can move the stuffing around in the mask so you can make sure you are really compressing you’re trouble spots. I like how the mask plugs into the wire so it is easy to connect/disconnect to go wet it. It does block out light for sleeping purposes.In one week, it has made a huge difference in the swelling of my lid and has shrunk the chalazions themselves. As an added bonus, it also seems to have helped my eye erosion in the other eye although I still put in over night ointment as it still feels dry by morning if I do not.
