Great product
I'm a teacher, and I use these with my younger students. My students love them. It's a great way to practice reading, whilst making it fun and engaging. There are lots beanbags and plenty of ways to incorporate these into games for little ones learning to read.

Writing could be clearer but otherwise a great product
The Learning Resources Sight Word Bean Bags are a great way to help children recognise some sight words in a fun way. There are fifty words on twenty five double sided bean bags. I was surprised that the beanbags were so small but it does mean that they fit nicely into the drawstring bag which is handy for storage. The bean bags are in five colours with each having a different pattern on them. They have a fleece feeling texture to them which feels nice but it does mean that the words aren't as clear as I was expecting them to be. They are still readable but I was hoping the writing would be as clear as it is on the drawstring bag. These are good for incorporating into games to help children recognise the words and get used to seeing them. I think they are expensive for what they are but they are a useful resource to have, especially with larger groups of young children. I would give it five stars but it'll have to be four as the writing isn't as clear as I was expecting for a reading resource.

A Fun and Interactive Way to Learn Sight Words
I am absolutely thrilled with the Learning Resources Sight Word Bean Bags. I was looking for a way to make learning sight words more engaging and fun for my granddaughter, and these bean bags are just the job. The concept is simple yet genius - who wouldn't want to toss, catch, and play with soft, tactile bean bags while learning essential phonics and spelling skills? The quality of the bean bags is excellent, with clear and bold printing of the sight words on each side. The drawstring bag makes storage and clearing up easy, and the included Activity Guide is packed with creative ideas to get you started. My granddaughter has been having an enjoyable time playing with the bean bags, and I've seen a significant improvement in her recognition and recall of sight words. The best part is that they don't even realize they're learning. The tactile and kinesthetic aspects of the bean bags have been especially helpful for my granddaughter, who is a sensory seeker. I happily recommend the Learning Resources Sight Word Bean Bags to any parent or teacher looking for a fun and interactive way to teach phonics and spelling skills. They're a great addition to any learning toolkit and are sure to bring a smile to your child's face while they learn.

Lots of subliminal educational play going on...
My two primary age grandkids (5 + 6) absolutely loved these and they also involved our 2yr old toddler, their cousin, explaining what was happening and showing him the words and then saying them out loud and spelling them for him; so building up communication skills and sharing with others is a good side to these essentially simple bean bags. They are brightly coloured and come with their own carry bag and activity book. There are twenty five bean bags with simple words on both sides - 50 words in total. You can use them in a number of ways: e.g. playing 'find the word games' or building up sentences or first to find the word and throw it into a bucket (not supplied) or find the word and spell it out. You can also play games involving playing catch and timed games, the list is endless. I like toys like this that are educational, without it being immediately obvious to the kids that they are essentially learning through play. My only concern with these is cleaning and, beyond wiping down before storing, the longer term implications of hygiene. The manufacturers don't put much info in the way of cleaning in the pack and haven't yet responded to my email asking that question.

A fun way to get them reading (phonics and spelling bean bags)
I got this item with the intention of using it with my 4 year old daughter. At the time of writing this, it is the April time of the reception year. The bright bean bags have also captured the attention of my 7 year old, although the words are way too easy for her. The fact that these are bean bags turns learning in to a game. She saw the bags and immediately said that was what she had wanted. We started off with a relatively easy game of her needing to tell me the word on the bean bag. She needed to spell them out, but then told me the word, so I threw her the bag. She insisted however she had to get both sides correct first. Once she had a few she was called away, and she gleefully took the bags with her as she went. The bags themselves are covered with a sort of flock, which can look a little sparse when the bag folds particular ways. Overall though the bags are bright and pretty coloured. The words could have been a little larger, but they are relatively easy to read.

Good, fun learning resource
My 5 year old grandson loves these, his teacher has seen them and was impressed by them too. They encourage learning with fun, you can throw and catch these colourful little bean bags and play games while your child learns. The material is soft and reasonably plush so they may help children on the autism spectrum with soothing, I am autistic and found the feel of these really very pleasant. There are two different words on each beanbag. The words are ones my grandson is learning to use in sentences so these are really helpful. They’re a little bit expensive though, I would have liked to see them at around £25.

entertainment and learning in one toy
I'm a big fan of kids games which also have a purpose to teach little ones something useful. These games aim to combine pleasure of the game with the usefulness of discovering and learning new skills and knowledge. The game contains 25 small, but very colorful and eye-catching bean bags, each one of them has a small printed word on both sides. The purpose of the game is to help the little one to visualize the phonetics and the spelling of each word. All the beanie bags may be conveniently kept in a larger master pouch. The words are quite short and simple, therefore I would say the perfect age limit is between four and six to maximum seven years old. This is a good preschool learning source.

My child doesn’t like to use flash cards for sight words or practicing sight words in general so I have been looking for a fun way for her to practice sight words and these bean bags make learning sight words fun! She even started to make sentences with them. The activity guide includes some other ways to use them and the bag makes clean up so easy!
