It really protects my cord from chewing cat!!
We recently moved with 3 cats! One of the cats has been chewing our electric cords. We don’t want her to get hurt and we need our cords! I found Uomtfay cord protector on Amazon, ordered it, got it in a couple days and immediately and easily protected our phone charger cord. Its actually stopped her from chewing and she’s calming down. We’re all happy!! I recommend this cord protector!! !

IT WORKS!
Wrapping multiple electrical cables together for my quilting machine with this product has been effective in protection from puppy teeth...(like little razors)! More on order for sewing machines, irons & other cords plugged into those lower outlets that are within her reach.Thank you for the reasonable prices, too.

Material
It feels kind of hard which is really protecting my wires from my cat’s teeth and that’s what I really liked. It looks the same as the picture, I recommended 100%. If you need to cover many wires you should purchase more than one.

Very very strong cord protector
I’ve tried everything out there. Had to replace several Roku devices because one cat is a major chewer. THIS is the product that stops this behavior. I plan on buying more for other cords in my cats line of sight.

Mixed Feelings
I was really hoping this would be the answer to my problems with my dogs chewing on cords. Unfortunately, it was way more difficult than I anticipated to actually get the cords into it and after I opened it enough to get them threaded through, it never really "snapped back" to hold them and I ended up with a flaccid fabric tube barely hanging on. I have taped it in various places throughout to mend this issue but that isn't an ideal fix either as that will eventually weaken and fall off as well.

This is the solution to pets chewing your cords... well worth the investment!
This is a great deal if you have a pet that simply can not resist chewing on your cords. I have a cat that seems to get a thrill out of biting into any cord carrying 110 volts. You would think that just once would be enough to discourage such behavior, but NO, he actually likes the "taste" of the electricity, and knows if it is present, he won't touch a cord that is not carrying 110 volts. So, I wanted to see if this was a better solution than other things I've tried, like bitter apple spray, covering the cable with immovable furniture, and lots of other things. This is actually a good idea. It is basically a 10 foot long piece of automotive protective wiring loom cover, that is made to start on the cord on one end by uncoiling the protector and starting the cord in the center of the coil, then using your fingers to guide the rest of the cord all the way up the cable by pushing the cord into the uncoiled center of the protector. Seems to work better than I thought it would on first seeing it, at least I have had no chewed through cable to date, it appears to be unpleasant to chew on, but I did not test this theory personally, lol. I thought maybe I could do better by purchasing this at a custom car builder supply locally, but the same size and quality would have been over $2 a foot, so 10 dollars for ten feet actually represents a great deal. If you have a chewer, I can recommend this as a possible cure for you to try. 5 Stars!

A pain to put cables in, but worth the management
The make on these is woven plastic, and basically work as a sleeve for your cords. This particular one can handle 3-4 USB or the like cables easily, and more if you don't mind it being a bit bulgy. I was mostly looking for a cord management, so I can't speak to the pet chewing since my pets have (mercifully) passed the cord chewing phase. One thing is I wish they'd included a tool to insert the cable. You can do it by hand, but with other kits I have gotten a tool to make sliding in the cable much easier. You can mimic the tool by folding a piece of cardboard, plastic, cardstock (the stiffer the better). over your cable, so that the cable is sandwiched inside the fold. Then put the folded edge into the sleeve so that it is wedging the sleeve open. You can then slide the folded cardboard down the sleeve (or the sleeve over the fold which is actually easier), so that your folded sandwich separates the sleeve as you go, and you leave behind the cable inside the sleeve. It's still a little wonky, but it is much easier than steadily pealing the sleeve apart around the cable. If you use a lot of cables, I also suggest taping them or velcroing them together every so often. A velcro strip is also useful if you have to pull a cable out at an earlier point than the rest of the cables. Good luck, happy cable management.
