Shoes have a good arch, and fit well. I own several pair and use washer/dryer frequently.

I love the Keds I purchased. I wear them when I will be sitting a lot, or running errands. I would not wear these if I was doing a lot of walking, since a have a high arch. They were tight around the ball area of my feet, so I couldn't wear them for long stretches of time, but are now stretching out and more comfortable.
