I got this for camping but I actually used it the day it arrived since we were having a 2 week period of rain every day. It went on easily over my head and kept me dry while I ran errands. I also laid it out on the deck to see if it would stand up to the rain. It was out there for over an hour. When I picked it up all of the water ran off. The outside of the top layer was wet but the inside of the top layer was not and the bottom layer (the back I guess you'd say) was not wet at all except along the edges. Rain will drip off of the hood and a few drops ran down my face but who wears make-up when they're camping anyway? The other kind of crazy thing I did was to hang it on a hanger outside overnight with a rectangular plastic trough under it when it wasn't raining. Early the next morning my son got up (since this was his idea) and shook the rest of the water off of the poncho into the trough. We got almost 3 cups of water from the dew that had settled on it. Preppers will like that. It's good to wrap things in that you want to keep dry in the rain/

This poncho is a great size and really high quality quite frankly for the price I was not expecting such quality. It comes with a pouch that makes it really compact for packing. Fantastic

Works very well. Was looking for a camo poncho that was rip-stop, waterproof and light-weight. This one fit the bill. Tested in some heavy rain lately and it really is waterproof. Have bought two now. One for my wife. One of my friends bought on my recommendation and he's satisfied also. Good pricing on this too.

poncho is good size and strong. the fabric is a little more stiff than i had anticipated. i expected it to be comparable with the fabric of my tent, which is water resistant yet thin and lightweight, but this poncho is slightly thicker and stiffer. i assume that will aid in the longevity of the product, or so i hope :-/

Worked as expected. No flaws as of yet.

I thought this would be a cheap rain cover. It turned out to be GREAT. Was inexpensive and is a great value.
