A different sweet read
This is a kind of romance which puts itself ahead than the rest . A good escape from normal romantic tales

“Hoh! Hoh!” You must read Transcendence, and I’m gonna tell you why.
You know these kind of books that are so good you can’t put them down? Stories that are captivating, heartbreaking, funny and so emotional all together, that are able to change your life? This was all about that. I’ll start saying that it was a fantastic read, one of the best and most beautiful stories I’ve read in my life, and I will for sure never forget it.The whole tale was written in Ehd’s POV, a lonely caveman (not metaphorically speaking, he was truly and literally a primitive caveman) that we don’t know much about, like where or when he lived. What we know is that he had simple thoughts, and only knew about things that were important for his survival. He lived according to his instincts and emotions. He was humble, innocent and pure, and my heart felt so much for him.Beh— that’s how Ehd called her from the sounds she made, was a young woman that fell into his life out of nowhere. At first we don’t know where she was from, just how weirdly dressed she was and how much noise came out of her mouth.Ehd then decided she would be his mate and would never let her go. We literally could only imagine what went on inside her head, her fears and her frustrations.Bear in mind that the entire book has no dialogues. Ehd learned how to “imitate” 2 words Beh said, but it’s more like an understanding as a command than properly the understanding of the meaning of these words. We as a reader find ourselves inside the hero’s head, looking through his eyes, having his doubts, discomforts, excitements and comprehensions in his own innocent way. Ehd was just worried about surviving through the winters, having a mate for life and the importance of putting a baby inside of her. That was what he knew, that was what he understood to be fundamental.“𝚄𝚗𝚎𝚡𝚙𝚎𝚌𝚝𝚎𝚍𝚕𝚢, 𝙱𝚎𝚑 𝚝𝚊𝚔𝚎𝚜 𝚊 𝚜𝚝𝚎𝚙 𝚏𝚘𝚠𝚊𝚛𝚍 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚙𝚕𝚊𝚌𝚎𝚜 𝚑𝚎𝚛 𝚖𝚘𝚞𝚝𝚑 𝚘𝚗 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚜𝚒𝚍𝚎 𝚘𝚏 𝚖𝚢 𝚏𝚊𝚌𝚎. 𝙼𝚢 𝚖𝚊𝚝𝚎 𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚕𝚕𝚢 𝚒𝚜 𝚛𝚊𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚛 𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊𝚗𝚐𝚎. 𝙰𝚗𝚍 𝚋𝚎𝚊𝚞𝚝𝚒𝚏𝚞𝚕.“Before I started the book I’ve thought it would be boring or I would get tired of it because of the lack of dialogues, but this story was so beautifully written, that it catches anyone’s attention from the first pages until the very last one.Even when Ehd had a very simple mind, and didn’t understand any kind of communication, the writing style made his thoughts complex, very well elaborated and mature. And I thought that was incredibly well done, because that doesn’t mean he was having these complicated feelings, it’s just so we could understand everything perfectly. There were situations that I found myself laughing because of how innocent the hero was, and he just didn’t know any better. He was genuine and pure of heart, that after finding his mate, he made his life’s work to protect her and make her happy.Their relationship started chaotic, but soon they found an understanding of how things should go and it was sooo precious to see their affection flourish, their insecurities go away and give place to the passion, to the need, to a love so primal and intense like some people only have once in life. It was perfect to see how two people who couldn’t speak to each other, fell in love just based on touches and emotions.““𝙺𝚑𝚣𝚣, 𝙱𝚎𝚑?“ 𝙷𝚎𝚛 𝚜𝚖𝚒𝚕𝚎 𝚠𝚒𝚍𝚎𝚗𝚜 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚜𝚑𝚎 𝚕𝚎𝚊𝚗𝚜 𝚒𝚗 𝚝𝚘 𝚙𝚛𝚎𝚜𝚜 𝚑𝚎𝚛 𝚕𝚒𝚙𝚜 𝚝𝚘 𝚖𝚒𝚗𝚎. 𝙸𝚝 𝚒𝚜 𝚘𝚗𝚕𝚢 𝚊 𝚜𝚘𝚏𝚝 𝚝𝚘𝚞𝚌𝚑, 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚋𝚛𝚒𝚎𝚏, 𝚋𝚞𝚝 𝚑𝚎𝚛 𝚎𝚢𝚎𝚜 𝚜𝚝𝚊𝚢 𝚘𝚗 𝚖𝚒𝚗𝚎 𝚊𝚜 𝚠𝚎 𝚙𝚊𝚛𝚝, 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚜𝚊𝚖𝚎 𝚜𝚘𝚞𝚗𝚍𝚜 𝚌𝚘𝚖𝚎 𝚏𝚛𝚘𝚖 𝚑𝚎𝚛 𝚖𝚘𝚞𝚝𝚑 𝚊𝚐𝚊𝚒𝚗, 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝙸 𝚝𝚒𝚕𝚝 𝚗𝚢 𝚑𝚎𝚊𝚍 𝚝𝚘 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚜𝚒𝚍𝚎, 𝚕𝚒𝚜𝚝𝚎𝚗𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚝𝚘 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚝𝚑𝚛𝚎𝚎 𝚜𝚑𝚘𝚛𝚝 𝚜𝚘𝚞𝚗𝚍𝚜 𝚜𝚑𝚎 𝚞𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛𝚜 𝚒𝚗 𝚊 𝚛𝚘𝚠.“The characters’ lack of communication was so well set, and the author did a fantastic job of making us as frustrated as Ehd by not understanding what Beh wanted. But she also accomplished very well to transmit what the heroine was saying just by Ehd’s observations. I seriously have no words for it. (Please read the author’s note right at the beginning of the story!!)I didn’t want this book to be over, but with that ending, I had this feeling of being accomplished, fulfilled. It made me cry like a little child, but in the best kind of way. In the way that made me deeply wish for a love like that. This is a story about how love transcends all barriers like time, differences and beliefs. How something special simple can be so intense and life changing. This is a book like you never read before, and one you need to read if you are a romance lover.I also listened to it simultaneously while reading, and I had aaaall the feels! How Chris Chambers conveyed Ehd’s emotions was beautiful. How he narrated the parts of the hero trying to imitate the heroine’s noises(speech) was so funny and at the same time sweet—it melted my heart. How he pronounced “Beh” almost like “bae” made me smile every single time!If you have the possibility to listen to it as well as reading, you should do it!

Transcendence
I just couldn't put the book down. Even being told almost entirely using his POV and maybe because of it, I guess the story was so different and endearing. There were some repetitive moments that could have been used less, like Ehd always just thinking he had to protect and provide for his mate, and he kept thinking that thing again and again. But in general there were so many sweet parts in the book that brought me to tears, so those repetitive parts were irrelevant. This is a book I will keep and read again in the future.

Vorrei l'edizione in italiano
Mi piacerebbe comunque poterlo leggere in italiano.

Great.
I loved it from the beginning till the end. I would also have liked to read the girl's thoughts. The situation in the stone age is very well described.

My heart
This book will make you feel all the feels. It's like no other book I have ever read before. I laughed, I cried. I was right there with these 2 characters until the end. This is a book about love, trust, hope, adversity and connection through actions. Enjoy.
