I thought I was ordering something smaller, but I’m not disappointedI bought it to hold throat lozenges but I want it on my beautiful dresser in my room so o went fancy and this is perfect. If you’re wondering if you can actually reach inside and reach the bottom, if you have regular size hands you won’t have a problem! I have regular sized hands for a woman and there’s plenty roomThe seal is powerful and I’d totally use it for cookies or dog treats, thinking about buying one for the dog cookies. It’s great quality and it’s beautiful and it looks even better in person

It was smaller than expected

We needed a sealed porcelain (smooth interior) honey jar for organic raw honey. Perfect size for honey. Seal is nicely tight as well. Too small as a cookie jar. Porcelain, not just ceramic which we consider a step down. Smooth exterior bottom. For comparison, pic shows our cookie jar 10 1/2”H x 6 1/2” diameter next to it. It’s the yellow & red. Beautiful red coloring. Yellow portion not as bright as advertised. It has a little more brown in the yellow. Still a pretty color that goes well with the red.

These are exactly what I am looking for in a full 4 graduated size canister set. They are beautiful! Get a clue & start making them in practical sizes. I would have even over-paid for these, in the sizes I was looking for, I would have given them a 5+ star review.

Used this for a coffee ground storage for my coffee table. I wish it was a bit bigger, but it's still beautiful!

I love that this rustic, traditional pottery jar has an airtight seal to keep items fresh. Looks great on the counter as well. It could be bigger, with limitless snacks inside. But it's pretty good as it came too.

The crockery that arrived in the mail was darker than as pictured online but more importantly, also much more fragile than anticipated for any kind of practical kitchen crockery. It was attractive but the lid fell to the tile floor and shattered during the process of unpacking, before we ever even got to try using this pot for storing fresh unground coffee beans, as we'd intended.What to do with this brand new lidless former canister now?! We don't need another utensil holder...

I didn't deduct for how small it is because that was my oversight. I didn't see the picture with it next to a soda can so the seller made it clear what the size was. It wouldn't be large enough for a family to store cookies in, maybe candy. But the size would be perfect for a couple or someone on their own.It came packaged nicely, although Styrofoam is my nemesis because of the static mess it makes. But everything arrived in tact. The lid seals super strong. I actually went back to the pics bc I thought I was going to break it and maybe it was a twist off instead of pull. So it would probably be too hard to an elderly person to open, I know my grandma couldn't get it. But on the flip side, you know it seals air tight and your cookies will stay fresh. The colors and design are very pretty and looks exactly as pictured.Overall it's a nice cookie jar for most people but not all. The price is reasonable for the size and quality.

My only issue is it's hard for me to open with grip and strength issues while using the removable silicone seal. I use a butter knife to pop the top off. Without the seal it's great, but not as airtight. It's definitely big enough for a standard bag of coffee grounds, even an extra half to mix your own flavours! Hazelnut+Mocha=Nutella coffee anyone?
