Absolute rubbish!
Absolute rubbish, was only in the lamp for 20 mins and started flickering. It stopped working completely an hour after that. Don't waste your money!

Very effective
These bulbs provide a very good means of keeping flying insects out of food preparation areas. Flies are attracted to the unit and quickly despatched. Long life bulb means not many changes required. I leave it switched on from early Spring till cold weather returns. Would recommend.

Poor life, very disappointing
Installed this bulb, one of 2 purchased, on 17/4/24 and it failed a couple of days ago, on 20/10/24. Only 6 months life seems very poor to me, particularly as the flykiller is on a timer so it only comes on during daylight hours. I would have expected a much longer life and on behalf of our volunteer- run Sailing Club, I am disappointed. We run the place on a shoestring budget and increased costs like these are a problem for us. It remains to be seen if anyone will read this and contact me.
