I've had several SwanScout products over just the last year or two and they've all been great and never had any issues wirelessly charging any of my devices from phones to earbuds to smartwatches. But I got a Z Fold 5 last year and came across this and thought I'd check it out with the knowledge that placement of the device is key since it only charges when placed on a certain part of the charger. But even with the phone placed exactly in the 3 or so places that it says are the "ideal" spots to have primary contact (any my case off if that were to play into any problems), it would start charging, then stop. Then start, then stop. And on and on and on. I sat my phone on it for 10 minutes and lost 6% battery. All new cable and plug also. I work in IT, so I know the importance of keeping equipment up to date and the tolerances that each element can have and that they can add up to the overall performance of the product, but this was an unfortunate let down.

Got the pixel 9 pro fold. If you have looked into the wireless chargers, you probably was disappointed by how much a pain it is to get something to work with this phone. Well this charger just works. Thick case, no case. It wirelessly charges my phone. No more lopsided charging on a pick nor having to prop up the phone for my other stands.

Aside from the charger being " particular" how the phone is placed on it, husband is satisfied with it

I got this to use with a Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold. The charging coil in that phone is not in the same location as the coils are on most other phones. It takes a bit of fiddling to get the Pixel in the right spot for it to charge. If you have a normal wireless charging device you should be fine with this.My phone is in a generic case which has not caused any charging issues.I haven't evaluated rapid charging.⭐⭐⭐ is by base rating for a product which is fully functional and fulfills its promises

This stand works well on both of my foldable phones -- Z fold 6 and Pixel 9 Pro Fold. I charge one of the other over night and by morning it is completely charged. I like the idea that it just charges phones and not anything else, allowing me to choose how I want to charge other accessories.

I ordered this for use with my new Google Pixel 9 Fold. Normally I would just plug the phone into a USBc charger but I wanted something I could prop up and away from be on my bed stand. Worked fine for the first month or so then slowly started having problems. I have to get the phone in the perfect spot for it to charge. Within the last couple weeks I started having issues with it charging. I would wake up, grab my phone and go about my day only to find it did NOT charge my phone and my phone would die. I've been paying attention to it the last few nights and just getting it to light green and charge AT ALL has been problematic. As of last night it just wont charge my phone at all. I bought it less that 2 months ago... not happy.

Needed a charger that let me place the phone horizontally while charging and this works just fine. I do need to keep the right edge of the phone aligned with the right edge of the charger for it to work but that's no inconvenience. And it works well when the phone is vertical even when it's folded shut. I have a fairly thin plastic case on the phone which hasn't caused any issues.
