I like them, but after a few months they all started to leak.
I chose these pouches based on the large capacity, spout on end (vs. side), large opening, and price. They worked well for a while with regular use for apple sauce and yogurt. I like the large opening, but it took a while to find the sweet spot of filling--fill it too much and closing the zipper edge will cause it to squeeze out and make a huge mess. And "too much" is very deceiving--they are not actually capable of holding as much as you would expect. I always hand washed these and let them air dry, and I never had any problems with residual food or mold. However after 6 months or so of use (not heavy, maybe used 3-5 times/per week, and I have 3 pouches) all of the pouches have started to leak at the zipper closure corners. I've tried closing extra tight, but they all leak and have created several big messes in my car and bag. While I understand these things don't last forever, I'm a little disappointed. It seems like a product flaw when they start leak at the zipper, as opposed to wear and tear (they do not look worn or have any holes or scratches). I'm tossing these and trying another brand. This time I'm going with ReSqueeze, also available on Amazon.

Nice product design, just wish the caps were bigger
These little pouches are nicely designed and useful for neater applesauce eating by our two year old (and sometimes her mama too!) I like that the sides are gusseted - both because they hold a little more and because they will stand up when you're filling them. I've only really tried applesauce in them, but assume they would work fine with other purees. They're not too hard to clean, and I really like not having to throw away (or pay so much for!) other popular children's food pouches. These take a little more time to prep (obviously) and are not shelf stable, so there's still a place in the world for other commercial food pouches, but for now these work for us.I wish capacity had been mentioned, so here it is: technically I think they could hold 5+ ounces, but you're safer with just four oz. My major grievance is that the caps are small, not connected, and absolutely choking hazards. This is clear from the photo, but a bummer because even if you're using them as an adult the caps are so easy to misplace. And in case you're curious, the bigger, bobble-like, less-choking-hazard caps that come with other food pouches designed for kids do NOT fit.My other suggestion to company would be to add enough of a gusset at the bottom to allow them to stand up in the fridge. From the photo, you might suspect that they could, but no, they are just a flat seam at the bottom, so they'll stand on their sides in the fridge, but not upright. This also means you can't put them down in the middle of eating them. My little tyke eats fast enough that this isn't an issue, but for a little baby it could get annoying. However, they're not that expensive and I'm glad I got them, even if they're not perfect.

Not a good food pouch design for me
Update: 05/09/2013 Finally tossed these out :( There was mold growth in the caps which are very difficult for me to clean because theyre so small. For the same reason, they're a choking hazard. After trying to twist the cap on and off, my toddler then put it in her mouth. Lastly, if a toddler sucks too hard on the mouth piece (mold growth / hard to clean there too btw) damage will occur on the gums because the material is too sharp.Update: so originally I gave 4 stars, but took it down to 3. I tossed a pouch in my diaper bag, went to the library and discovered a mess. I checked to make sure the pouches were closed. They were, but it still leaked. :( Very unhappy that these on the go items have to stay at home.--------I saw a posting on Pinterest abou the Little Green Pouches so I looked for a cheaper version. I found Yummi Pouches, Squooshi and EZ squeezees. Chose the latter because it was cheaper and for a test run at making food pouches at home.So far so good. I made a carrot, spinach and pear puree (made the carrot and spinach then froze before hand) using my Ninja blender that my daughter ate. Good because I recently transitioned my one year old to whole milk and she'd had constipation from drinking too much milk. The only bad I can see is cleaning - there are crevices that I have to make sure to rinse out carefully.I also noticed mention of how wide the pouches were. I was concerned about that too, until I realized it's a good design because if you fill the pouch to capacity and close it, then hand it to your child, their touch may cause the puree to squeeze out. To minimize the mess, your child will probably grab the pouch with both hands using the sides/handles, or you can fill the pouch with less puree.I like the pouches and I'm going to use the for awhile. I also want to try the others because the caps on the others are larger and more visible.
