My kindergarten students love to watch these timers! I had a very upset child throw one at the hard tile floor. The inside piece broke, but the outside stayed intact with no spillage. Highly recommend!

I ordered this set of hourglass sand timers for use with my children; particularly for clean up time. Although, these will be useful in many other settings as well. There is a nice variety of times represented in this set: 1, 3, 5, 10, 15 and 30 minutes. It does say right in the product description and each hourglass states right on it that the time is accurate within 10% plus or minus of the time labelled. Not a big deal if you are just cleaning up toys but may be problematic with something more time sensitive like cooking. The labels on the hourglasses are stickers which a determined kiddo could peel off or if you needed to wash these for any reason the sticker would fall off in the washing process. The colors of these are nice bright colors which make them a great choice for use with children. The protective casing is a sturdy and strong plastic and I feel confident these will hold up well against my rambunctious toddlers. Overall, this is a nice set of child friendly hourglass timers but I wish the time was printed on rather than a sticker.

I am quite thankful for these sand timers. My kids use the 1 min timer in the bathroom to brush their teeth, and turn it over again so they brush for 2 min. The visual is great for them. We use the other ones around the house for different activities - countdown to bedtime, count down to dinner, etc. It really helps my 4yo with transitions, as well as my 8yo with ADHD. Having the visual timer helps them to mentally prepare for the transition to the next activity/task. The timers themselves have held up well to being dropped multiple occasions. I thought for sure this last time one busted, but sure enough, still no cracks at all. When I compared the timers to my watch timer, they were within seconds of each other.
