Sturdy / good looking hardware, questionable instruction book
The hardware looks just like in the photo and is very heavy duty, it will certainly stand up to the use it will get.I was prepared to rate as 4 stars due to missing pieces and the instructions are a tad cryptic, however, the seller was fantastic in response to the missing pieces and quickly replaced the missing items without any hassle. The instructions...well...as you start putting it together it becomes more clear, however, my recommendation is to prep on the floor ahead of trying to hang anything so you understand what all pieces are needed and what the end stage will look like. This pre-build process also helps to ensure you have all the right pieces before getting started as well as making sure you use all of the washers, screws, etc where they are needed. As others have posted, we ended up installing a 1x8 "header" on the wall for the hardware to hang from - this was a much sturdier way to hang especially when you are not able to hit studs with each pre-drilled hole. The hardware looks great and we are very happy with the purchase.

Good bypass track kit for the money
This is our third barn door installation and the first time using a bypass track kit. We read all of the reviews and saw many times that others had to buy extra washers due to a flaw in the design or spacers that are just not part of the kit but should be. Our kit arrived without any instructions but we mocked up as we went along and performed sanity checks along the way. One sanity check revealed with the door roller bracket on the inner track, the bolt head would hit the the bracket that supports the outer track. After a little trial and error with some washers we determined we needed seven 1/4 inch washers stacked behind the inner track and the stand. Seven were needed since only using three or five still caused the bolt head to contact the bolt head of the bracket. See attached pictures. The washers sell in packs of 25 for around $2.50 at Home Depot so the problem was solved for five bucks. Given the cost of the kit it should include longer stands for the inner track that properly center everything under the brackets for the outer track. However, this is really the only flaw in the kit and you could not buy all of the metal, shape it, and get it powder coated for what this cost. The end product looks great and functions as designed.

Quality product that just needs one more item
The barn door hardware looks nice and seems like it should stand the test of time. The instructions were 'ok', but I did have to take the rack down twice due to the lack of details in the instructions. One thing that could have made the installation go much faster would have been a drill pattern. Installing the second rail was very difficult and in the end, I used a number of clamps to insure the two rails were close to level with each other. If the outer rail is below the inner rail, then the door rollers will hit the upper rail bracket; hence me taking the rack down twice. If a drilling pattern would have been included, the install would have taken an hour or two instead of four to five hours. It was a learning experience and the hard ware is of great quality for the price. I will be buying another rack in a short time to finish a second closet.

It took an entire day of tinkering but it works!
I used this track to install 5 1/2’ x 7’ doors on a barn. We had space constraints due to the soffit above the door opening. I bought this specific track because of the low profile “U” shaped brackets which only require 7 1/2” inches of clearance or so.Like some others have said, the bolts on the wheels hit the mounting bolts on the rear track. Every single bolt. We discovered this as we were hanging the doors, which would have been one of the final steps!! Had to disassemble both tracks and install 2 washers behind each mounting bolt to resolve the issue. We followed the instructions as closely as possible-which were a little wonky and featured some alarming typos (one part said 3/8” and the zoomed illustration said 1 3/8”, thats a big difference!) And i’m fairly certain that if we did not follow the instruction for the U bracket assembly (which consists of 2 L brackets on top of one another) and flipped the order of which bracket sits on top, we would not have had the bolt-hitting issue. It’s worth noting that the front track did not have any issues and the door would glide perfectly right away. And also worth noting that the finished product looks great.

Looks great
First time I have ever made a review. Like other purchasers I echo that the hardware included is legit, well made and I could not have been more pleased with the design. People who noted issues with catching, probably failed to appreciate the door width restrictions; see the photo in the photostream to see size limits. I gave four stars instead of five because I had some missing parts, which would make you think I would have given one star, but costumer service was so quick to fix and send new parts that I was more than impressed. Planning to purchase another set up for a different room as it looks so good.
