Pelican Catch Mode 110 Kayak

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I wanted a kayak for supporting divers with underwater cleanups and needed one with trolling mount. Nothing like trying to pull 100lbs of dead crabtraps and tires with lift bags attached in 2 foot seas and 8knts of wind paddling is a chore I needed power and this fit the bill. It has good stability and lots of room on the deck. I can also stand if need be or kneel to unhook the lift bag which I could not do safely without tipping over and possibly getting dumped with my old sit on top or sit in kayaks. Stability: good setup with trolling motor mount Value for money: another vendor wanted 400.00 more for same kayak! Works well: Does what I need it to do.

Stable enough to stand and fish and light enough to easily load into a truck bed by yourself

Bought this kayak so I could kayak a nearby river and take to a lake for fishing. I have a trolling motor for it but the kayak didn’t have a Manufacture’s Statement of Origin which makes it illegal in my state to register for a motor. Contacted Amazon who gave me contact information for Pelican (Confluence Outdoors) and emailed my issue with the kayak and included my HIN and Model Number. After acknowledging the issue a day later they sent me a MSO and I am now able to register my kayak for use with a motor. I was thinking that the process was going to take weeks but it was only a couple of days. I have several Pelican kayaks and would not hesitate to purchase another.

Awesome kayak would buy again if I needed to.

Just the right size and weight!

I absolutely love this kayak. I'm a heavy person, and it's been perfect for me. It's sturdy and I havent flipped. It's light enough that I can move it around my own on the shoreline and in the yard. However, I do need help lifting it into the back of the truck.

Wish I could have gotten to use this kayak but it didn't even make it to me before amazon sent a message that it was damaged in transit and being sent back. Pelican as a brand is great for their affordable fishing kayaks. They're lightweight and stable on the water. Judging by the many reviews about my exact issue here with transit damage that I glossed over thinking maybe it's been fixed by now, id say be prepared to wait a few weeks till they can get it right or just order elsewhere. The kayak is worth it but the hassle is not.

Definitely an upgrade to my previous kayak. It’s stable and handles well. Considerably light given its size and capacity. Reasonably priced and having been made in Canada is an added bonus. Hoping to get lots of use out of it over the coming years.

Far better than when I was expecting it's nice and long being that I'm 6'3 that's a bonus it's extremely stable and the orange with granite gray is one of my favorite parts of the entire boat I love that it has a transom and there's so many flat surfaces to be able to mount and modify it I'm excited to get started.. before this I had to Sentinel X 100 and the catch 110 has been a major improvement above that no matter how good the Sentinel was

This is a great kayak! Only thing did not like was it did not come with a paddle.

Absolutely love it. I do have a motor attached and mounted my transducer to the bottom. Only issue is that if you are paddling it handles like a barge
